"Penelope, do you know how to make our French baked escargot?"
"Penelope, what's Stargazy pie? I'd better make a vegetable salad... Can you help me cut the vegetables?"
"Emily! Morgan le Fay wants us to do this ourselves."
Helena had only just floated into the kitchen when she noticed several witches chattering away in front of the brilliantly glittering bell-shaped crystal glass covers, pointing at the various ingredients stored inside—Fleur and Emily were both gathered around Penelope, while Hermione was shaking her head at Emily in disapproval, emphasizing that she had to finish it independently.
"Helena? Morgan le Fay called you over too?" When Fleur saw the female ghost come in, she assumed that even Helena, who was usually favored, had been summoned by Albert's mother, and she could not help feeling a little intimidated by this cooking display.
"I brought the plates in for Grandmother. She asked me to keep an eye on things for her." Helena did not look kindly on Penelope either, but her attitude toward Fleur and Emily was fairly normal.
Unlike with Luna and Hermione, Penelope knew the female ghost from her former House was Allen's daughter, so she would not show any hostility toward her and risk making the other Harrises unhappy. She merely nodded to her as a greeting.
Emily had clearly thought of this too. She immediately grabbed Penelope's hand. "Penelope, I just knocked on the portrait. Bonnie said Helga went to Toby's village for a visit and won't be back for now. If you can't help me make it, at least give us some guidance."
Faced with Fleur and Emily's requests for help, Penelope was very pleased. She walked over to the coat rack, scooped up an apron and put it on, then looked over at Hermione, as if waiting
