"Master... ah, sorry, I mean Headmaster Harris." Lucius, startled, had instinctively used the form of address that showed greater respect for Allen before correcting himself. "You mean... Lady Ravenclaw is going to... descend in person again?"
Draco looked toward Luna with a terrified yet probing gaze. Luna's somewhat dazed eyes met Draco's. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure."
Allen noticed what was happening over there. He raised a long, pale finger to his lower lip and made a shushing gesture at Draco, whose face had lit with sudden realization, then looked at Lucius. "I think it would be better if she demonstrated this task herself."
"If Lady Ravenclaw needs us to do anything, please simply give the order... it would be our honor." Narcissa had not yet connected too much of what she had just learned—that Allen was Helena's father—with Ravenclaw, and even her voice had become far more deferential.
Helena materialized and walked over to Luna's side, standing behind her with Allen, one on the left and one on the right. "This is my mother, Rowena Ravenclaw."
"Hm?" Lucius and his wife were baffled. They did not understand the situation before them and were completely confused. They looked in front of and behind Allen and the others, but found nothing that had descended here. Draco, however, had his guess confirmed. He trembled as he stared at Luna, but aside from making a few strange noises in his throat, he did not cause any commotion.
Then the three members of the Ravenclaw family and the three members of the Malfoy family stared at one another, until Allen stretched out a foot beneath his robe and lightly kicked Luna's slipper.
"Oh, you meant now?" Luna's sleepy-looking eyes widened slightly. She fished around inside the collar of her nightgown, took out
