Long-Eye took several Monoculars from his pouch and handed them to the Prime Minister's family. Then he pointed in one direction, and a place that had originally seemed to be some kind of greenery suddenly resolved in the Prime Minister's view into a "giant" botanical garden with startling force.
It was not that the grounds made the Prime Minister, who had inspected many farms with the Minister of Agriculture, feel they were especially vast. What shocked him more was the size and mass of the plants he recognized. As for the things he did not recognize, he had already gone numb to them because there were too many such things on the Floating City—the plants floating in midair or running around to move house no longer made him gape in astonishment.

Among these giant fungi grew large numbers of smaller mushrooms and fungi, thriving in that strange Maze shrouded in soft phosphorescence.
There were even some buildings made by tangling vines together, or by hollowing out giant mushrooms and trees. These plants grew wildly and unchecked in that strange plant Maze bathed in soft daylight, and more wizards had clearly turned the space beneath the mushrooms into places for gatherings, picnics, and games.
"We can make plants without magic grow madly, and because the Floating City has the Energy Core's energy litigation... er, Your Excellency Anthony, you can think of it as something like a Muggle nuclear power station?" Long-Eye stretched out a finger
