In Diagon Alley, flames leapt up, and debris burned fiercely. Thick, roiling black smoke shot straight into the sky, visible even from several kilometers away. Some of the taller spires were swallowed by the blaze, then snapped and collapsed. Aurors rushed to the scene in droves to rescue people, while the wind was filled with heat waves, ash, the sound of collapsing structures, screams, incantations...
Many of the wizards who had hurried over looked at the great fire that had begun with the Floating Ships docked at the rooftop shipyards and was spreading from top to bottom. Worried about losses in the storehouses, they shouted anxiously. The Aurors did everything they could, casting charms to put out the fire and restore the damaged buildings, trying to keep the situation from worsening further.
Josephine and Sirius Black stood together on a rooftop the fire had not yet reached, watching in the direction of the dragon.
"When the dragon started rampaging, thank goodness it was already after work. No one should have died... otherwise our Magical Creatures Control Division would be in serious trouble." Josephine straightened her wide-brimmed hat and pulled a Firebolt painted black from her pouch. "I'll chase after it first. Tell the people below to follow."
"Owen must have gone to hold those goblins to account. You go with him and deal with those goblins..." Sirius Black pointed at Owen, who was leading the Aurors into Gringotts. "I'll lead the team after it..." Sirius Black pursed his lips and muttered sarcastically, "Don't let the dragonfire set you, a vampire, alight..."
"So, after only a few days, you think you can beat me?" Josephine raised an eyebrow, her long, pale fingers curling and extending one after another.
"Don't. As a lady, you ought to maintain the necessary restraint!" Sirius Black
