Allen stood before the deep pit with a dreamlike expression, barely paying any attention to the outside world as he sank into his own emotions. Huge collapsed stones flew out of the pit before him, casually stacked to one side and destroyed by black flames. In the spectator stands that had been razed to the ground, the crystals and stones burned into glass by the fierce blaze were all cleared away.
Only then did the others realize something was wrong. They followed Allen to the edge of the deep pit, and seeing how unusual he was, Penelope grew anxious. She simply moved closer to Luna. "Crazy Girl, what riddle are you and Allen playing at now?"
Luna jumped down from Hermione so she could return to human form, then jerked her chin toward Allen at Penelope and Hermione, signaling for them to get closer to the place where great swathes of broken rock were flying.
The deep pit was gradually excavated and cleared, until a half-person-high magical shield carrying the deathly power of the Underworld appeared before everyone. Only then did Allen stop digging.
Looking at the bow formed from magical energy outside the spherical shield, rage instantly rose in Allen's eyes. The bow was undone by an invisible force, and the shield melted away before him like ice and snow—Professor Filius Flitwick's wizard robes, more than half smaller than an ordinary person's, and the small wand Allen had specially made for him lay quietly inside. In the places where the clothes and head had been, there was still a great deal of ash.
Seeing the scene before them, the Harrises finally realized what had happened.
"That... is Professor Flitwick's wizard robe and wand..." Daisy said in a trembling voice, but she had been utterly unprepared to see this scene
