Allen felt that soul magic was truly mysterious and unfathomable. Given the chance, he would have to study it carefully. If he encountered another opportunity for a sneak attack, he would strive not to miss again.

Looking at Harry lying unconscious on the ground, Allen hesitated briefly between turning around and leaving or rescuing Harry, then decided to take Harry to Madam Pomfrey for treatment first. Harry had rather risk his life than let Allen face danger, and such sincere feelings moved Allen. Therefore, he did not want Harry to remain on the cold floor for too long, even though he knew Dumbledore would return to save him.

Allen bent down, preparing to pick Harry up. Suddenly, an aged yet powerful voice came from behind him. "Expelliarmus, Stupefy." A dull thud sounded behind him—the sound of a body hitting the floor.

Allen spun around and found Professor Dumbledore standing on the steps before the fiercely blazing black flames, his expression grave as he held an Elder Wand.

Then the one who had fallen was—Professor Quirrell! Professor Quirrell had, after all, been an outstanding Ravenclaw graduate. His theoretical foundation was exceptionally solid, and he had become renowned for his remarkable talent. Had he not wished to gain practical experience and book knowledge in Defense Against the Dark Arts, traveled abroad, encountered Voldemort in Albania, and been persuaded to join the dark forces as Voldemort's servant, he would surely have had a bright future.
