"You're not allowed to watch! Hermione, let's go to the library." Forced into a corner, Allen shrugged and agreed under everyone's expectant gazes. Then it was Allen's turn to ask Hermione to take him to the library on the second floor.
The library's collection had grown considerably since the beginning. Besides the books Ravenclaw had originally preserved, there were also volumes moved over from the Black family, as well as books Allen and the others had purchased afterward.
In this area that stored spellbooks, knowledge manuals, and all kinds of magical notes, bookshelves and storage cubbies were neatly arranged along the walls. Hermione and Allen sat at the table and chairs in the very center of the library, and she handed Allen the material she had excerpted and compiled from various books and documents.
As soon as they entered the library, Hermione said impatiently, "Allen, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that method in front of them and embarrassed you."
"It's all right. We're family, just messing around. To sort all of this out so completely and systematically, Hermione, this must have taken you a great deal of time and effort." Allen flipped through the thick notebook Hermione had so carefully written and set beside him, sighing with feeling. "You usually have to finish your studies at Hogwarts and manage Umbrella Corporation. Your time is already tight, and you still researched all this. You don't have any time left to relax and enjoy yourself, do you?"
Seeing the red veins beneath Hermione's tired eyes and her pale complexion, he knew it had to be because she had slept too little. She had silently done all of this for him and given so much... Hermione did like reading and research, but surely not to the point of forgetting food and sleep
