The skinny wizard screamed as he slammed into the floor. He reached up with trembling fingers toward his neck, his nails hooking under the collar, and without thinking tried to pry the thing clinging to his skin outward a little. But the moment the collar was pulled by an external force, it instead shrank tighter inward. The harder he pulled, the more viciously it tightened. A loud "gak" came from the skinny wizard's throat. His face slowly flushed red, and he felt his mind swim, breathing impossible, his vision going dark.
The long-faced wizard's legs went weak with terror, and he collapsed to the floor. Seeing Allen turn his gaze on him, he scrambled backward on hands and feet, but it was doomed to be useless.
