Orders to Subordinates

With a command to cease, a multitude of black runes erupted from his hands, slithering directly toward the fifty people standing before Kangetsu. Soon, their bodies were covered in the black markings, and a small black dot appeared within each of their mouths.

Kangetsu's eyes swept coldly across the fifty men before he barked, "Anyone who dares to leak a word of this will be killed instantly by the sealing technique! I suggest you harbor no treacherous thoughts from here on out."

Having said this, Kangetsu turned to look at the visibly terrified Inoue. A smile—or something resembling one—touched the corner of his mouth as he said, "Transmit everything inside the scroll you're holding to these people. Remember, you only have one night. I will resume the mission at dawn. Understood?"

He turned and began to walk away, but Kangetsu suddenly stopped, causing the group—who had just let out a sigh of relief—to tense up once more. They watched him with reverent eyes. Kangetsu nodded in satisfaction and said, "Jingxia, Watanabe, you two will teach the Clone Technique to these men. The same goes for the Body Replacement Technique."

With that, he tossed another scroll to Watanabe; the words "Body Replacement Technique" were written clearly upon it.

While these were considered basic ninjutsu during the era of the Five Kage, they were incredibly scarce here. After all, these three techniques required very little chakra yet were highly practical, which was exactly why they were deemed essential in the ninja world during the Five Kage era.

Once everything was settled, Inoue and the fifty others finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Jingxia spoke with lingering fear, "Such a powerful aura. Lord Kangetsu's presence grows stronger by the day. Every time I see him, I don't even dare to breathe. Lord Kangetsu is truly formidable!"

Inoue nodded in agreement, adding, "Indeed! Lord Kangetsu is powerful; that is why he is our king. Only a man like him can be a king, a shadow, and a true powerhouse."

The dozens of men behind them nodded solemnly. It was clear that Kangetsu held a towering position in their hearts.

This was only natural; in the Warring States period, only the strong could survive and protect their subordinates. Many sought to pledge their loyalty to a powerhouse, not just for the safety of themselves and their families, but out of genuine respect for strength.

Kangetsu was precisely such a person. While he still paled in comparison to the elders, he was undoubtedly the most powerful existence among his peers.

It was for this very reason that Inoue and the others had sworn their lives to Kangetsu, and Kangetsu would certainly not let them down.

At that moment, Inoue opened the scroll. As he read the theories and training methods regarding the nature and form transformation of the five chakra elements—Fire, Lightning, Wind, Earth, and Water—he was stunned. Truly stunned. Inoue could guarantee that if this information were released, it would drastically increase the strength of the entire Uchiha clan. Yet, Kangetsu had chosen to share it only with them. Though he did not know the hidden reasons behind this, Inoue knew that once they mastered these techniques, his own strength would skyrocket, as would that of the entire team!
