Genjutsu was a form of ninjutsu that used chakra and spiritual power, but Kangetsu was doing his best to avoid using his spiritual power, because his body simply could not bear it! In truth, Kangetsu could not even imagine how powerful his spiritual power-his soul-really was!
While in the womb, a soul received a special substance and slowly grew! But every person's soul was different, and those differences determined whether they were clever as children, whether they were geniuses! After that so-called lightning strike in his previous life, all that remained of Kangetsu was the purest essence of his soul. Then it grew again in this life, becoming so powerful it was downright absurd!

All three were enemies, yet they shared the water from the same river! It was almost laughable. If it were up to Kangetsu, he would simply poison the river, and the people of the other two clans would probably be finished by now!
But this Warring States Period seemed like an age that ignored such things altogether. What mattered was fighting openly and honorably, killing the enemy in battle!
It was not that deception and schemes did not exist, but they were far too rare! Everyone here seemed to have a one-track mind!
Just like in the original story, Uchiha Tajima and Senju Butsuma had actually targeted each other's sons in their plans to kill one another. What a pair of idiots! Couldn't they have brought someone else along? After all, if the Uchiha Clan knew they were going up against Senju Butsuma, a whole crowd would certainly have stepped forward!
Yet Uchiha Tajima had smiled and said, "It seems you had the same plan as I did, Butsuma!"
Words like that only made Kangetsu want to vomit! He truly could not imagine how their brains worked!
