Inuzuka Clan grounds
Naraku followed Inuzuka Choichi to the Inuzuka ninja beast shop.
Inside the shop were many cages, with ninja dogs resting inside with their eyes closed.
There was also an exercise yard for the dogs. Quite a few of them were playing and frolicking there, acting almost like people.
The dogs came in all colors: white, black, yellow, and spotted. Some could even speak.
The Inuzuka Clan truly lived up to its reputation as Konoha's foremost specialists in raising ninja dogs.
"Mr. Naraku, ninja dogs are friends of the Inuzuka Clan, so we have strict requirements for anyone who wants to buy one. Please take a look."
Inuzuka Choichi handed Naraku a small booklet. It was titled Inuzuka Clan Ninja Dog Care Requirements.
There was quite a bit to running the Inuzuka Clan's business. Naraku opened the booklet and slowly leafed through it. It was ten pages long, and he carefully read it from beginning to end.
"The Inuzuka Clan really is a family that raises ninja beasts. Your rules are remarkably thorough. I'm impressed."
After reading it, Naraku couldn't help praising them.
The handbook contained plenty of requirements: playing with the dogs, feeding them on schedule, taking them for regular walks, and all sorts of other things. No wonder the clan had the Secret Man-Beast Combination Ninjutsu.
"Mr. Naraku, you'll need to confirm that you can follow all these guidelines and sign a written agreement before you can buy a ninja dog. And if the Inuzuka Clan finds out you've mistreated one, we have the right to take it back. Please think it over carefully."
Inuzuka Choichi was very courteous. Although raising ninja dogs was the Inuzuka Clan's main business, their close bond with the dogs meant they had to ensure their safety.
