Store Update

After spending a few days with Naruto, Minato took Kushina Uzumaki to Fei Shi's base in the Land of Fire.

Shisui went with them as well.

Fei Shi had already revived him with a Revival Card and thoughtfully bought him a new pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from the newly updated System Store. One eye granted "Teleportation," while the other granted "Reverse Vision."

One let its user teleport anywhere within a fifty-meter range, while the other reversed their sense of direction, making left feel like right, up like down, and forward like backward.

They were premium eyes from the system, and if the user had Hashirama Cells, they could be used like a low-grade Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

So Fei Shi had also implanted some of his own cells into Shisui.

Since Fei Shi now possessed Ashura's Sage Body, his cells had some of the same effects as Hashirama's.

Itachi hadn't been left out, either.

Naruto stared blankly at the spot where his parents had disappeared. Fei Shi said nothing and quietly stood behind him.

Sasuke sat on the swing, watching Naruto.

Hinata fidgeted with her fingers, looking at Naruto as if she wanted to say something but couldn't.

Neji stood behind Hinata like a bodyguard.

"Na-roo-to!"

A slightly childish voice called out. It was Sasuke.

"Uncle and Auntie said they'd come visit you every so often. Don't make me think less of you, crybaby. You're not fit to be my rival."

Naruto's anger flared instantly.

I finally got to see my parents, and we were separated again after only a few days.

I was feeling down, and Big Brother, Hinata, and Neji were all keeping quiet so they wouldn't bother me. So why are you here ruining the mood?!

Naruto's dejection vanished in an instant, replaced by anger.

"Sasuke, prepare to die!"

"Baka! Naruto! What's gotten into you?! Ah! You bit me!"

"..."

Even Fei Shi was at a loss for words.

These kids... Neji was the only one who was easy to handle.

"Okay! Everyone, line up!"

"I've got some new techniques that I'll teach you later. Once you've trained to a certain level, I'll show you this one. It'll have an unexpected effect in close combat."

Then he silently summoned the system and opened the store.

There were plenty of good things. Fei Shi had his eye on Three-Color Haki, which would grant him mastery of all three types upon purchase.

He could also buy Haki Seeds. Once the user's physique was strong enough, a seed would let them train in Haki. As for Conqueror's Haki, whether it awakened depended on the user's talent. The seeds cost only one-tenth as much as the complete version.

He was also interested in the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Heavenly Dragon Halberd, the Logia Devil Fruit—the Storm Fruit—the Symbiote Riot, Life Return, and Pure Yang Flame. He wanted all of them.

There was another item he wanted to give to the Nine-Tails: a Trait Copy Card.

After coming into contact with its designated target, the card would copy that target's traits and grant them to its user. He'd only wanted the Symbiote Riot after seeing this card. Kurama was a life-form made of chakra. Giving him the traits of a Symbiote... should be pretty interesting.

Kurama, who was watching anime inside the sealing space, suddenly shivered. He had the feeling someone was watching him.

He knew Minato had been revived, and Minato now knew about his relationship with Naruto. He'd even promised to return the other half of Kurama to him when the opportunity arose. Could this be... Minato planning some kind of trick?

Forget it. He didn't want the other half anymore. He'd wait until he had a better relationship with Naruto, then get Naruto to ask for it.

Back to Fei Shi's side.

Fei Shi promptly bought a complete set of Three-Color Haki and ten Haki Seeds. He planned to give the Three-Color Haki to Tsunade and Jiraiya. The remaining four seeds were for his other four students.

Purchased items were recorded, and he could buy them again from the records whenever he needed more. So he hadn't stocked up. As for who he'd give the rest to in the future, he'd leave it to fate.

Returning to the present, he gave the four little ones the order to set off from his manor.

Fei Shi ran behind them, taking in the scenery as they went.

The grounds of Fei Shi Manor were quite beautiful, with water, grass, and trees. There was also a huge artificial mountain, around seventy or eighty meters tall, made with Earth Release. It took up an area about as large as the manor itself.

After Fei Shi had built the mountain without permission, Hiruzen Sarutobi had been so furious his face had twisted. He'd ordered Fei Shi to make it disappear at once, but Fei Shi had flatly refused.

Later, Fei Shi planted plenty of greenery and fruit trees on the mountain. Flowers and plants flourished there, making the scenery even more beautiful.

On the other side was a cliff. Fei Shi had made it for training, and aside from a few trees, it was bare and rugged. It had become a training spot for some of the taijutsu shinobi. When Hiruzen Sarutobi saw how things had turned out, the old man's face had spread into a chrysanthemum-wide grin.

When they reached the cliff, they saw two shinobi competing to see who could climb it faster. Fei Shi told the kids not to stop and to keep running.

After their training for the day, they ran back to the cliff, where the two shinobi were still competing.

"Yo, Kakashi, my rival! I'm definitely winning this time!"

A thick-browed boy who looked like a kappa challenged a white-haired boy.

When he saw Fei Shi approaching with the four little ones, the thick-browed boy turned and greeted them.

"Hi, Fei Shi! How about a youthful contest?"

Then he gave a thumbs-up.

That's right. It was the man who had almost kicked the story into its finale—the Emperor Guy, Might Guy.

The other white-haired boy was the man who never let his little book leave his side and could go toe-to-toe with anyone, from Genin all the way to Six Paths Level: the Konoha Technician, Kakashi Five-Five-Split, Kakashi.

"Ha! No thanks. I don't have your boundless energy, Guy."

He waved at Guy in greeting.

"Yo, yo, yo, if it isn't Five-Five-Split! How did your match with Guy go today?"

Kakashi Hatake sighed. Ever since he'd met this guy, the other boy had called him Five-Five-Split. No matter how many times Kakashi corrected him, he still wouldn't stop.

Kakashi wanted to teach him a lesson... but he couldn't win.

He had known the boy, who was two years younger than him, for a long time.

He'd known him since the boy first came to Konoha, though they hadn't spoken back then.

That night, Kakashi had seen Fei Shi's strength. At the time, it had been far beyond anything he could imagine.

The Nine-Tails was a Tailed Beast. Even many shinobi fighting together couldn't defeat it, yet Fei Shi had held it off head-on for quite a while.

Later, Kakashi learned that Fei Shi had become the guardian of his teacher's child.

Kakashi had been watching his teacher's child, Naruto, from a distance when Fei Shi noticed him. That was when the two of them first got to know each other properly.

Still, Kakashi didn't want to deal with Fei Shi. He was too shameless. Once they became friends, Kakashi had never gotten anything out of him; he was always the one giving instead.
