Nine-Tails Appears

Everything happened in the blink of an eye; even Minato hadn't reacted to what was happening before Naruto was taken.

"Naruto!"

Kushina Uzumaki cried out in alarm.

"Fourth Hokage Minato, get away from the Nine-Tails' jinchuriki. And you... you brat at the door who doesn't know when to die, get lost!"

Under the mask, Obito appeared composed, but he was panicking inside. If he hadn't prepared thoroughly this time, he might not have even made it through the door. He couldn't help but think, How long has it been since I left Konoha? Are the kids here this terrifying now?

Fearing those inside would react, Obito launched a sneak attack first and abducted Naruto.

Inside the room, Fei Shi rushed over, pulled Sarutobi Biwako and Tianlu behind him, and slowly retreated toward the door.

Hiruzen Sarutobi had already donned his combat gear and was leading the ninjas to obstruct the Nine-Tails' advance. Many ninjas perished at the hands of the beast.
