Having run out onto an empty street, Montana finally couldn't take it anymore and shouted at March 7th, who was relentlessly chasing after her.
"Mon... Montana...?"
Startled, March 7th stopped in her tracks.
"Montana, how are you? Haven't you snapped out of those monkeys' bewitchment yet?"
"Don't worry, I'll take you to Botion right now. Or we can find Yan Huan. We'll treat you again—this time, it'll definitely work!"
"No, I'm not under any bewitchment at all right now!"
Montana straightened up, met March 7th's gaze, and said bitterly:
"What's so bad about being a Sleepy Banana Monkey?"
"Being human comes with so many worries! I'm exhausted. I'm about to break down."
"After finally finding such a beautiful dream where I could rest, you people insist on shattering it."
"Is making everyone in the world this exhausted your way of Trailblazing?!"
"Montana..."
March 7th froze, not knowing what to say for a moment.
"I've had enough of a life oppressed by credits and coursework. I've had enough of this society's relentless pressure. I feel like I can't breathe every single day!" Montana clutched her hair with both hands, her eyes nearly splitting with rage.
"The appearance of the Sleepy Banana Monkeys was like a bed. I thought I could finally sit down and rest."
"I really, truly don't want to desperately rack my brain over an uncertain tomorrow anymore. What's wrong with turning into a little monkey? Would that make me unhappy?"
"B-but... once you turn into a monkey, all your previous efforts will have been wasted." March 7th looked conflicted.
"Montana, look... you got into the galaxy-renowned Origami University. That's already a dream institution of higher learning for so many people."
