Background / History

March 7th travels with the Star Rail Express. During the Doomsday Beast crisis at Herta Space Station, she and Dan Heng are exhausted while defending against the beast's storm before Yan Huan takes the vanguard 7. After Yan Huan defeats the Doomsday Beast at Herta Space Station, she suggests inviting him onto the Express, though she remains wary of his particular interest in her 8.

While investigating the Water Specter at the station, she works alongside Yan Huan despite complaining about being made to return to work after breakfast 14. She later loses Yan Huan in the crowd and discovers a clone, Shui Xiao, impersonating her. March confronts the impostor and attempts to convince Yan Huan of the deception 15. She ultimately exposes the impostor by revealing Shui Xiao's water-like characteristics before the assembled station personnel 16.

On the Xianzhou Luofu, March is asked to infiltrate a group seeking the Elixir of Immortality by posing as someone mentally unstable. Reluctant to take the dangerous assignment herself, she proposes Yan Huan instead 266. She subsequently investigates the Medicine Master's Legacy, notices signs of Mara among the Cloud Knights, and independently gathers information on the organization’s infiltration 292 293.

A later investigation through the Grand Void Array intensifies March's uncertainty about her origins.
