"Who carries a bed around for no reason?"
Yan Huan reached into his clothes and pulled out a pillow first.
It was soft and wonderfully comfortable to the touch.
After tossing the pillow onto a lounge chair, Yan Huan pulled out a quilt.
The quilt was just as soft and carried a faint floral scent. He tossed it onto the chair too.
Then Yan Huan produced a long body pillow printed with Peipei's likeness.
"?" Dan Heng narrowed his eyes, his gaze sharpening.
"Wait, it's not cold in here anyway."
After checking the temperature in the Bath Palace, Yan Huan walked over to the chair, put the quilt away, and replaced it with a light blanket.
"Where's mine?" Dan Heng asked from the chair beside him.
"You want one too?" Yan Huan asked.
"Didn't you used to sleep on the floor? Since when did you get so fussy?"
"Even when I slept on the floor, I had a mattress, a quilt, and a pillow..." Dan Heng said helplessly.
"If you don't have a spare, forget it."
"Who says I don't? Hey, I've got it. Get up!"
After pulling Dan Heng to his feet, Yan Huan ran to the balcony and dragged the two lounge chairs outside into the room.
Dan Heng watched as he pushed all four chairs together.
"Now doesn't that look like a bed?" Yan Huan grinned.
"It's wide enough, but it's still a little unstable," Dan Heng observed.
"We'll use some bricks." Yan Huan pulled a red brick from inside his clothes and patted it in his hand.
"Hey, why don't we take these chairs apart and use the pieces to build one big bed?"
"Worth a try." Dan Heng nodded.
A bed was better than a lounge chair, after all.
