The venerable fairy village chief looked at Yan Huan with relief:
"Heh, honored guest, I had a feeling you would come."
"When the wind chimes among the branches rang for the twenty-fourth time, and the pink butterfly in the dense flowers began its fourth circuit, I knew."
"The honored guest who would save the Lost Illusionary Realm had finally appeared!"
Cyrene popped out from behind Yan Huan and smiled.
"How lively! You've already made friends with the fairies?"
"That's you all over. You shine wherever you go."
She walked past the bewildered Yan Huan and approached the little fairies.
"Village chief, Laila Mi, it's been ages! We're here, just as we promised."
"Promised?" Yan Huan blinked. He couldn't remember making any promises to these little fairies.
Visit more often?
The village chief smiled gently.
"Allow me to explain, as a matter of courtesy."
"Once again, thank you, honored guests, for coming all the way to the Lost Illusionary Realm to help the fairies rebuild their abandoned restaurant."
Laila Mi nodded beside her. "Want tasty food! Want it so much! Mi! But we can't cook!"
"Please, heroes! When fairies' tummies are empty, we want to destroy the world! Please save the Lost Illusionary Realm!"
"What the hell?" Yan Huan spread his hands. "I'm busy saving the world, man! Now I have to save a restaurant in my sleep? Can't you give me a break?"
"Hungry fairies really will destroy the world," Cyrene said with a smile.
"So for Amphoreus's sake, let's bring the restaurant back together and grant the fairies their little wish, okay?"
"But I can't cook either." Yan Huan looked helplessly at Cyrene.
"Dan Heng has all my supplies. I don't even have my bag in this dream."
"To be honest, I do have some good food in it."
