Senator Ladon forced the name through clenched teeth, his voice hoarse and venomous.
He spun around, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the solitary flag of AEDILIA in the allied army's camp.
Although AEDILIA had sent only Castorice, that flag still stood there as a symbol.
"Senator..." The garrison commander had been scared out of his wits by the sight before him and tried to say something in a trembling voice.
"Shut up!" Senator Ladon cut him off brutally. His chest heaved violently, and the wrinkles on his face twisted with utter fury.
"Did you see that? Huh?! Did you see that woman's power?!"
He abruptly pointed at Castorice, standing motionless on the battlefield, his finger trembling with agitation.
"They sent that kind of monster to supervise the battle?! What battle supervisor can take down an entire army alone? She's fucking a god of war!!"
"They knew all along!"
"Those scheming bastards from AEDILIA knew all along that this woman possessed such inhuman power!"
Senator Ladon's voice rose higher and higher until he was nearly roaring.
"They deliberately concealed it! They sent only her, not because they were being perfunctory, but because they knew she alone was worth an army of thousands!"
His mind raced through the rage, connecting every suspicious detail.
"They sent her here not as support from an ally. They had colluded with Okhema long ago! This is a trap! The most vicious trap aimed at all our city-states!"
The more Senator Ladon thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed, and the angrier he became.
"They deliberately withheld all intelligence on that woman's true abilities. They watched us send her
