As his words faded, the great curtain ahead slowly drew back, revealing the Grand Theater's true stage.
It was vast, more like a giant plaza than a stage.
"[After the Twilight War, the heavens lay empty and the earth was chaos.]"
"[To bring all things under heaven and earth into the realm of the knowable, Terminus of Order was born.]"
"[That was the first day.]"
The three stepped into the center of the theater and walked along the red carpet, taking in their surroundings.
Many scenes floated around them. Sunday had clearly prepared the venue.
"[Terminus gathered nebulae into quills and fashioned a great piano with black and white keys.]"
"[When a white key was struck, the sun rose. When a black key was struck, the moon rose.]"
"[And so day and night came to be.]"
"[That was the second day.]"
Puppets stood in rows along both sides of the path, showing the three where to go.
At the path's end, countless puppets knelt in worship before a portrait that served as a portal.
The three had seen portraits like it often enough by now.
They had appeared in A Child's Dream and in the Daydream Hotel within the dreamscape.
"All the puppets are gathered around that frame. Do they want us to go in?" March 7th looked ahead.
"Let's go." Himeko stepped into the frame first.
