"Ginyu Force, Guldo, Recoome, Jeice, Burter, Ginyu, reporting for duty!"
Five aliens of various shapes and sizes struck a clumsy pose as they appeared in the middle of a mid-sized city.
The next moment, the five of them stared at the gathering crowd of Earthlings, rendered speechless.
"Jeice, clear the area. Damn it, they're looking at us like we're monkeys," Captain Ginyu ordered.
"Heh, easy enough," Jeice chuckled.
"BOOM!"
With a single wave of Jeice's hand, the city of twenty thousand was instantly reduced to ruins.
A massive mushroom cloud rose into the air, spreading in all directions.
"Heh, much quieter now," Jeice said, beaming.
"Mm, well done," Captain Ginyu nodded. "Lord Frieza didn't send us here for a vacation. Hurry up and track down that brat Vegeta. Wipe him out, and I'll treat you all to barbecue."
The four subordinates nodded in unison and used their Scouters to search for Vegeta's location.
"Strange, how come there isn't a single person on this planet with a power level over ten thousand? The highest is only around three thousand," Jeice wondered aloud.
"Nothing strange about that," Captain Ginyu said with a grin. "Before we came here, Lord Frieza told me that while Vegeta may be young, he's full of tricks. He's definitely on Earth. Besides, didn't we just lose contact with Zarbon? I suspect that brat has found some way to suppress his power level so we can't find him."
"A way to suppress power levels? Does such a thing really exist?" Jeice and the others were shocked.
"Methods are created by people; nothing is impossible," Captain Ginyu laughed. "Also, just in case, keep a constant watch on the sky. The moment that brat creates an Artificial Full Moon, heh heh, blast it down immediately."
"Understood," the four members nodded together.
No sooner had Captain Ginyu finished speaking than a bright light flashed and shot into the sky.
An Artificial Full Moon!
"What did I tell you? What did I tell you?" Captain Ginyu's smile was radiant. "Fire! Blast it to pieces! Don't let that brat trigger his Great Ape Transformation. With his current strength, if he actually turns into a Great Ape, we'll be the ones getting beaten up."
As the words left his lips, all five of them, including Captain Ginyu, unleashed beams of energy from their hands, the massive power surging straight toward the Artificial Full Moon.
"BOOM!"
With a deafening roar that shook the heavens, the Artificial Full Moon was blasted to smithereens before it could even take effect.
Hundreds of kilometers away, Vegeta saw this and broke out in a cold sweat. He immediately suppressed his ki and leaped away from the scene.
"He's over there, don't let him get away!" Ginyu commanded.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
Three figures streaked toward Vegeta's previous position, leaving only Ginyu and Guldo behind.
"Guldo, your power level is the lowest, so just stick with This Seat," Captain Ginyu said, laughing as he patted Guldo's round head.
Vegeta was beyond frustrated. Damn it, you could have at least let me finish creating the Artificial Full Moon first.
It seemed the Great Ape Transformation was a bit of a dead-end tactic for increasing power. He would have to spend time later figuring out how to protect the Artificial Full Moon; if it was going to be this much of a pain, he'd rather not use the skill at all.

With a deafening roar, the Artificial Full Moon was blasted into smithereens before it could even serve its purpose.
Hundreds of kilometers away, Vegeta witnessed this scene and broke out in a cold sweat. He immediately suppressed his ki and darted away from the area.
"He's over there, don't let him get away!" Ginyu commanded.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
Three figures streaked rapidly toward the spot where Vegeta had just been; only Ginyu and Guldo remained still.
"Guldo, your combat power is the lowest, so just stick with this captain." Captain Ginyu chuckled, patting Guldo on his round head.
Vegeta couldn't have been more frustrated. Damn it, you could have at least let me finish creating the Artificial Full Moon first!
It seemed that the Great Ape Transformation as a means to boost combat power was truly a bit of a letdown. He would have to spend some time in the future figuring out how to protect the Artificial Full Moon; if it was going to be this unreliable, he would rather not use the skill at all.
It was worth noting that by manifesting the Artificial Full Moon, Vegeta had consumed a significant amount of his internal energy, and his combat power had now dropped to around fifty thousand.
After slipping away for some distance, Vegeta suddenly chuckled.
