The Rhythm of Starvation

"Jeice, what's wrong?" Ginyu asked hurriedly.

"Captain... Vegeta ate all the food." Jeice was on the verge of tears.

"Y-you... what did you say?" Ginyu's body trembled, and he nearly collapsed to the floor.

"All the food on the ship... even the nutrient solution... there's absolutely nothing left now." Jeice's face turned red, his indignation beyond words.

"That little brat!" Ginyu felt the volcano inside him about to erupt.

It was infuriating; this was a death sentence by starvation!

The next moment, Ginyu stormed into the hall where Vegeta was, shouting in a rage, "Vegeta, I think you're tired of living!"

"Captain Ginyu, what is it now?" Vegeta glanced at him sideways and asked.

"Where is the food on our ship?" Ginyu was beside himself with fury.

"Oh, I almost forgot since you didn't mention it. The food on your ship was terrible; I had a hard time forcing it all down. Next time you travel, remember to bring something better." As Vegeta spoke, he pulled out a toothpick to pick his teeth.

"Damn it!" Ginyu's volcano truly erupted. "If it tasted so bad, why did you eat it all?"

"I say, Captain Ginyu, it's just a bit of food, isn't it? Is there any need to get so worked up?" Vegeta chuckled and let out a burp. "You know our Saiyan appetites are huge; I haven't even had my fill yet."

"You, you, you..." Ginyu was livid. He was burping and still saying it was just a bit of food?

Damn it, they were still a month away from Planet Vegeta. While they wouldn't starve to death, they would certainly be dizzy and lightheaded from hunger.

It was hateful, absolutely hateful!

Ginyu really wanted to throw Vegeta out, but he held himself back in the end.

After starving for a full month, the spaceship finally landed smoothly on Planet Vegeta.

They had finally arrived!

Ginyu and Jeice were both dizzy and disoriented; when they opened the hatch, they nearly fell out of the ship.

They were starving; they hadn't eaten in a month.

They didn't even have the strength to stand.

Looking at the unfamiliar Planet Vegeta, Vegeta let out a long sigh of relief.

This planet, in the end, had not been destroyed by Frieza.

Perhaps, the time hadn't come yet?

He hadn't expected that after all that trouble on Earth, he would end up back on Planet Vegeta.

"Get off, stop dawdling!" Vegeta, standing behind Ginyu and Jeice, kicked them when he saw they hadn't moved after a long time.

Ginyu and Jeice tumbled out, nearly face-planting into the dirt.

At this very moment, the people at the Space Launch Base finally recognized that their little prince had returned. Stunned, they rushed forward to pay their respects.

"Keep these two under guard, and don't give them anything to eat." Vegeta looked back at Ginyu and Jeice and ordered his subordinates.

The subordinates naturally dared not slack off and rushed over to restrain Ginyu and Jeice.

"Get lost, you low-class creatures! Do you have any idea who I am?" Ginyu roared in fury.

Damn it, his combat power was 120,000, and he was being restrained by two guards with combat powers under 1,000. He was so angry his nose was crooked.

"Such a big mouth. Your Highness, who is this?" the guard asked, taken aback.

"Oh, a prisoner I captured on the way," Vegeta said with a smile.
