"You... you can tell my combat power without a Scouter?" King Vegeta was quite shocked.
Vegeta smiled, having no intention of explaining.
Just as he was preparing to go visit his old friends Ginyu and Jeice, a guard came to report.
"King Vegeta, Your Highness, Mr. Zaron has arrived."
"Very well, I know. Tell him to wait for me in the palace!" King Vegeta frowned, and after speaking, he glanced at his son before leaving.
Vegeta thought for a moment, gave some instructions to the guards, and then followed behind King Vegeta.
Upon arriving at the palace, Vegeta saw from afar that Zaron was sitting on the throne with his legs crossed. Looking at King Vegeta, his face had already turned livid.
This was hardly surprising; that was the King's throne, and anyone would be furious to see an outsider sitting on it.
"My apologies, my apologies. I saw that King Vegeta's throne looked so comfortable that I couldn't help but come over and sit for a while. I meant nothing by it, hahaha." Zaron hurriedly stood up, explaining with a chuckle.
However, anyone could tell that the tone of Zaron's words was intentional.
The guards behind King Vegeta were so angry their faces turned pale, waiting only for the King's command to strike.
Yet, although King Vegeta was furious, he dared not speak out; with the enemy being stronger than them, the only price for attacking would be death.
King Vegeta did not want to die yet.
"Since Mr. Zaron desires this seat, I shall find an opportunity to have one crafted for you," King Vegeta snorted coldly.
"No need, I just wanted to soak up some royal aura. How could a newly crafted one ever be as comfortable as King Vegeta's?" Zaron replied with a grin, then looked at Vegeta with a smile, shifting the topic to him. "Isn't that right, little prince? I suppose this seat is meant for you in the future, isn't it?"
Vegeta could not bear to listen any longer and said impatiently, "Noisy!"
"Oh? The little prince seems quite angry, haha. Anger is unavoidable, I suppose." Zaron gave a light laugh and continued, "I wonder, while on Earth, was my brother not very respectful to you? It's no wonder, really; you are the prince of the Saiyans, not our prince. We serve Lord Frieza."
"Your brother was indeed disrespectful to me, but he is already dead," Vegeta sneered.
"What did you say?" Zaron's expression changed abruptly, and his gaze toward Vegeta became piercing.
"I said, your brother is dead," Vegeta said indifferently. "Is your head stuffed with donkey hair? Do I need to repeat myself a second time?"
"You... you're lying! That's impossible!" Zaron was so shocked his face turned pale; he could not believe that his brother had just died like that.
You have to understand, in Frieza's army, both he and his younger brother were considered top-tier existences; how could his brother possibly be dead?
Even King Vegeta was stunned upon hearing these words from Vegeta.
Zarbon was dead?
That didn't seem very likely, did it?
However, the person who returned with his son was indeed not Zarbon, but someone else entirely.
It was just that these two individuals claimed to be members of the Ginyu Force.
Upon hearing the name of the Ginyu Force, King Vegeta was also taken aback. Later, he had intended to ask his son what was going on, but he accidentally entered the Gravity Training Room and ended up severely injured, only being healed today.
"Think whatever you want, just get as far away from here as you can and stop being so sentimental," Vegeta said impatiently.
King Vegeta was no longer calm in the face of his son's assertiveness. While acting this way might be satisfying, it wouldn't be fun at all if Mr. Zaron were to be provoked.
"Fine, very well! Today, I'm going to show you what I'm capable of!" Zaron was furious, glaring daggers at Vegeta.
"Mr. Zaron, let's talk this over. My son is young and ignorant..." King Vegeta tried to mediate from the side.
"Shut your mouth! It's not your place to butt in when I'm about to teach someone a lesson!" Zaron barked angrily, showing absolutely no regard for King Vegeta.
