"Whoosh..."

Vegeta soared into the air, heading straight for the Lookout.

Sure enough, just as Dragon Ball had described, Earth's gravity was only one-tenth that of Planet Vegeta. Vegeta felt much lighter now, almost as though his body wasn't there at all.

Fifteen minutes later, Vegeta finally spotted Karin Tower standing in the distance, along with the seemingly unreachable Lookout.

As he approached Karin Tower, an idea struck him, and he flew inside.

"Meow..."

Karin let out a meow, his fur standing on end as though he faced a formidable enemy.

After all, Vegeta's aura was overwhelmingly powerful-and evil, too. For all Karin's worldly experience, the fact that he hadn't jumped straight off the tower was already a testament to his courage.

"You're Karin?" Vegeta chuckled and checked his Scouter. This fat old cat's power level was around one hundred and sixty, making him a fairly impressive figure.

"Meow, who are you? What have you come to Earth for?" Karin asked warily.

"Never mind who I am. I heard you have Ultra Divine Water, and drinking it draws out your latent potential. Is that right?" Vegeta asked with a smile.

"Meow, that's right. I do have Ultra Divine Water. Follow me." Karin had already made up his mind. Hurry up and drink it, you little monster. Let it poison you to death!

Earth could not be allowed to harbor such a powerful, evil being.

With his mind made up, Karin led Vegeta into a small room and handed him the container of Ultra Divine Water.

Vegeta opened the lid and sniffed it. It didn't seem to have any unusual smell.

"Old cat, is this stuff really Ultra Divine Water?" Vegeta asked, looking at Karin.

"The genuine article, meow." As Karin spoke, he prayed inwardly, Just drink it already. Why all the questions?

Vegeta smiled and asked with interest, "You seem eager for me to drink it. Is there poison in here?"

"Young man, how could this possibly be poison, meow? This is Ultra Divine Water, the most miraculous water in the world. Once you drink it, your latent potential will be drawn out, meow..." Karin didn't mean a word of it. Despite what he said, he was thoroughly baffled. This little monster was already so powerful-what the hell did he need to unlock more potential for?

If his potential really was drawn out, this planet would be finished.

All Karin could do was pray that the Ultra Divine Water would poison the little monster to death.

Vegeta hesitated no longer. The pot looked much like the one Goku had used, so he drained every last drop of Ultra Divine Water in one go.

Of course, Vegeta also knew that Ultra Divine Water was a deadly poison. Only by overcoming its toxicity could he successfully unlock all his latent potential.

After drinking the Ultra Divine Water, Vegeta swiftly flew away from Karin Tower and vanished from Karin's sight.

He did this because he'd noticed the old cat's hostility. If Karin killed him while he was fighting off the Ultra Divine Water's deadly poison, he'd be screwed.

Watching Vegeta disappear into the distance, Karin let out a long sigh of relief and slumped onto the floor.

Terrifying!

Terrifying!

Where had this little monster come from? Just looking at him made my fur stand on end and left me trembling.

Even that fellow above me probably wouldn't be a match for this little monster, would he?

At this point, all he could do was pray that the Ultra Divine Water's deadly poison would finish the little monster off.

Vegeta had barely found a patch of woods to hide in when he felt as though all his internal organs had been wrenched out of place. He immediately pitched headfirst to the ground. Agonizing pain twisted his face, beads of sweat rolled down, and his breathing grew rapid. He nearly passed out.
