Vegeta looked down. The speaker was Jeice, the Ginyu Force's sole survivor.
Jeice's eyes were bloodshot as he glared viciously at Vegeta.
But the moment Vegeta glanced at him, he flinched in fright and hurriedly looked away.
Jeice was utterly frustrated. With Prince Galdo here, Vegeta wouldn't dare step out of line. What did he have to be afraid of?
Having worked that out, Jeice gritted his teeth and glared fiercely at Vegeta.
"Ginyu is dead?" Galdo merely gave Jeice a cursory glance before turning to ask Vegeta.
"Sorry, I hit him a little too hard, and he accidentally died." Vegeta chuckled. Light flared in his hand as he finished speaking. "Just like this!"
Boom!
A brilliant blast roared downward, striking Jeice square in the body.
In an instant, Vegeta's energy blast reduced Jeice to dust.
"Hmph, what's so impressive about picking on someone with barely any fighting power?" Galdo smiled disdainfully.
"I just wanted to warm up." Vegeta smiled faintly, then pointed into the distance. "Since you want to settle this with me, Prince, why don't we go somewhere less crowded?"
With that, Vegeta ignored Galdo and flew off into the distance.
Galdo smiled, glanced at Zaron beside him, and beckoned him over.
Zaron dared not delay and hurried forward.
"Zaron, stay close to me. I'll have plenty of use for you in a moment." A sinister smile hung on Galdo's face as he spoke.
Zaron nodded solemnly. He had a feeling something wasn't quite right, but he didn't dwell on it.
King Vegeta and the others were stunned by what they had just witnessed.
The young prince was going to fight Galdo to decide who was stronger?
The news soon spread across the entire planet. Saiyans came flocking in, though they dared not get too close to Vegeta and the others.
After all, many of them knew how powerful Galdo was.
By now, Vegeta and Galdo had arrived in the sky above a desert.
Trailing behind Galdo was his tagalong, Zaron.
"Vegeta, I specifically asked my dad to spare your life. Shouldn't you thank me?" Galdo grinned at Vegeta rather than immediately launching into a fight.
"So I could serve as your whetstone?" Vegeta sneered.
"Exactly. After we're born, our kind need to find suitable opponents to hone ourselves against. Although no one but my dad is a match for me now, my future growth will be very difficult if I don't train." Galdo explained with a broad smile. "Ever since I was born, I've heard stories about you. I wanted to fight you back then, so I had Ginyu and the others bring you back."
Vegeta nodded thoughtfully. He supposed he really ought to thank Galdo. If not for him, the troubles on Earth would only have kept piling up.
"You really haven't disappointed me. In just one year, your power level has risen to a hundred and fifty thousand." Galdo smiled faintly. "You must have already heard about my power level from your people, right? But don't worry. Although your power level is only a hundred and fifty thousand, I won't use my full strength, and I won't kill you so easily."
