The only thing I don't know is whether my future wife, Bulma, has even been born yet. If she's still in the womb, who am I supposed to find to build a Dragon Radar?
Vegeta remained silent for a long time, unsure of what to do next.
The Guardian looked Vegeta up and down, and after a moment of contemplation, he could no longer suppress the question in his heart: "Young man, I can sense a tremendous amount of energy hidden within you. This energy is both righteous and evil. I know you aren't a bad person, so tell me, what wish is it that you truly want to grant?"
Vegeta glanced at the Guardian sideways, saying nothing.
"Speak it out; perhaps I can help you," the Guardian added with a smile.
"Cut the crap. I'll be back!" Vegeta couldn't be bothered to entertain this old Guardian and prepared to leave right then and there.
Help me?
Did he get his head caught in a door? With the Guardian's combat power, let alone Frieza, even if Dodoria showed up, he'd just be a snack for him.
Since even the Guardian couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the Dragon Balls, Vegeta weighed his options for a long time and decided to make a trip to Capsule Corporation.
Even if Bulma wasn't born yet, her father was a great scientist. Getting him to help build a Dragon Radar shouldn't be too difficult.
Furthermore, Vegeta also intended to have Bulma's father build him a gravity chamber so he could train inside it.
"Young man, the energy within you is far too vast. Although you are already very powerful, if you could learn to internalize this energy, I believe you would see even greater improvement," the Guardian suddenly remarked.
"Oh?" The look in Vegeta's eyes as he turned toward the Guardian became eager.
"Stay, and I will teach you the method to internalize your energy," the Guardian offered with a smile.
Vegeta frowned. Where would he find the spare time to internalize and hide his energy? If Frieza were to show up in person, that wouldn't be fun at all.
Right now, the most urgent matter was finding the seven Dragon Balls; everything else was secondary.
"You can tell me the method, and I'll figure it out on my own. As for staying, forget it—I'm busy," Vegeta replied.
"Internalizing energy isn't something that can be explained in a sentence or two. Since you have things to do, we shall speak of it another time," the Guardian said with a smile, making no move to stop him.
Vegeta gave the Guardian a look, feeling that this old guy was up to no good.
Forget it. I'll stop worrying about this old man for now; the most important thing is finding the Dragon Balls.
With that thought, Vegeta stopped wasting time, took flight, and plummeted toward the world below.
The Guardian reached out a hand as if to say something, but by the time he opened his mouth, Vegeta had already vanished.
"Guardian, this person..." Mr. Popo looked nervous.
"I am completely outmatched by him. In his presence, I feel an incredibly powerful pressure," the Guardian said with a self-deprecating smile. "I don't know if his staying on Earth will be a blessing or a curse. It's a pity; if he were willing to stay at the Lookout to train, I might have had a way to purge the evil from his spirit."
"Guardian, he's gone to harass Karin again..." Mr. Popo looked at the scene below, unable to decide whether to laugh or cry.
The Guardian closed his eyes and remained silent for a long time. Seeming to have made up his mind, he gave a solemn instruction to Mr. Popo: "Popo, once this little monster gathers all seven Dragon Balls and summons Shenron, you must kill me immediately. As long as I am dead, Shenron will vanish, and his wish will come to nothing!"
