"Technological products?" Dr. Brief looked wary.
"Mr. Lin Chen, if you'll forgive my bluntness, you already seem incredibly powerful. Earth's weapons..."
"No, Doctor, you've misunderstood. Let me be direct: there are only two pieces of technology I need right now. One is a Medical Machine, and the other is a Gravity Room."
Dr. Brief blinked. "A Medical Machine? A Gravity Room?"
Lin Chen glanced around and pointed toward the garden outside. "Doctor, let's head over there. I have something to show you."
With that, Lin Chen began walking toward the garden.
Dr. Brief was immensely wealthy; his garden alone was the size of a public park.
Lin Chen found a flat, open area, waved his right hand, and retrieved a Medical Machine he had brought from Planet Vegeta from his system space.
The machine appearing out of thin air left Dr. Brief dumbfounded.
"Th-this, Mr. Lin, how did you do that? Is it a Hoi-Poi Capsule?"
"No. Just consider it one of my unique abilities," Lin Chen said calmly.
He patted the machine and continued, "This is a model we currently use. It can fully recover someone suffering from severe injuries in a very short time. Doctor, I need you to at least replicate it perfectly and manufacture 100 units for us!"
"Once the Medical Machines are finished, I will also need at least ten Gravity Rooms capable of adjusting artificial gravity. Our planet's gravity is ten times that of Earth's, so the rooms must be able to simulate at least twenty times Earth's gravity."
"These items are vital to us Saiyans! The Gravity Rooms can wait, but I need those 100 Medical Machines completed within a month."
Dr. Brief looked troubled. "Mr. Lin, out of gratitude for you saving my family and Tights, I can agree to this."
"However, I have never worked with either Medical Machines or Gravity Rooms before. I don't know if I can actually build them."
Dr. Brief was indeed a genius who had invented much miraculous technology, but even a genius had limits.
The items Lin Chen required involved biotechnology and gravity technology—fields Dr. Brief had never touched, leaving him lacking in confidence.
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out: "Daddy, if it's a Medical Machine, it shouldn't take long to replicate one since we already have a prototype. After that, we can just have the robots mass-produce them!"
"Eh?"
Dr. Brief and Lin Chen turned their heads to see Bulma running out from behind a tree.
The little girl looked at the Medical Machine Lin Chen had produced with excitement, then smiled at her father as if seeking praise.
"Really? Are you sure, Bulma?" Dr. Brief asked, looking dazed.
"Yes! Oh, and Brother Lin Chen, do you have a prototype for the Gravity Room? If you do, I should be able to replicate that quickly, too. I've actually been researching anti-gravity systems lately..."
Brief chuckled sheepishly at Lin Chen. "My apologies, Mr. Lin. This is my daughter, Bulma. Don't let her age fool you; she's a genius who surpasses even me."
"Is that so?" Lin Chen wasn't surprised by Brief's words; after all, Bulma was arguably the most intelligent character in the entire Dragon Ball world.
"Thank you, Bulma. You've been a huge help. If you have any wishes, tell me, and I can make them come true for you." Lin Chen smiled and patted Bulma's head.
Feeling Lin Chen's hand on her head, Bulma's face flushed bright red.
"Um... Brother Lin Chen, I heard my sister say that you can fly? Could you take me for a flight?"
"Is that all?"
"Mm-hmm!" Bulma nodded firmly.
"Dr. Brief, would you mind if I took Miss Bulma for a short flight?" Lin Chen asked.
"Yes, yes, please do." Though slightly worried, Dr. Brief dared not refuse.
Lin Chen immediately took Bulma's hand and lifted them both into the air.
"Oh my god! Hahaha, I'm actually flying! This is amazing!"
Bulma was truly Tights' sister; she showed no fear of flying at all. Instead, she began to urge him on: "Brother Lin Chen, can you go any faster?"
"Of course."
Lin Chen pulled Bulma close, held her with both arms, and accelerated.
Protected by his aura, the two reached speeds exceeding a fighter jet in an instant, yet Bulma felt no discomfort at all.
Her face, however, was flushed a deep red. This flight had clearly left a deep impression on her.
"Bulma, shall we head back now?"
"No, Brother Lin Chen, can we fly a little longer?"
"A little longer?" Lin Chen thought for a moment, and his eyes suddenly lit up.
"In that case, how about I take you to see the Lookout?"
"The Lookout? Where's that? Does a god really exist in this world?" Bulma looked around.
Legends of the Lookout existed in this world as well. Even as a child genius, Bulma was curious about myths and legends.
"Yes. Just wait, I'll take you to see it right now!"
The place Lin Chen intended to take Bulma was Korin Tower and the Lookout.
These two locations were already on Lin Chen's planned route.
Since he was already taking Bulma out for a stroll, Lin Chen decided to simply move his schedule forward.
Korin Tower is located in a remote area, far from the human world; it takes at least several hours to reach by plane from West City.
However, at Lin Chen's speed, it didn't take long for the two of them to see the tower, which soared high into the clouds.
Just as Lin Chen and his companion approached, Korin's body began to tremble atop Korin Tower: "Such a terrifying aura. How could that alien know about this place?"
Inside the Lookout, the Guardian's green face turned somewhat pale: "Could it be that the alien has discovered me?"
"Wow!"
Bulma stared at the distant tower, her jaw nearly hitting the floor.
She was an Earthling, after all, yet she had never known that such a place existed on Earth.
That tower was surely taller than the highest building in the world, wasn't it? Why had she never heard of it before?
"Big Brother Lin Chen, is that where the Guardian lives?"
"That is Korin Tower, the residence of the hermit. The Guardian's dwelling is even higher up."
"Even higher up?"
Bulma felt that today was truly exhilarating; not only had she seen an alien, but she was about to meet a hermit and a guardian as well.
Her small face flushed red with excitement.
A moment later, Lin Chen had already brought Bulma flying up to the main hall of Korin Tower.
"Big Brother Lin Chen, where is the hermit? Where is he?"
As soon as she landed, Bulma looked around, completely ignoring the bewildered Korin standing to the side.
"Ahem!" Korin coughed. "Excuse me, I am the hermit."
"Eh?" Bulma gasped in shock. "Big Brother Lin Chen, the cat just talked!"
"He is not a cat; he is the hermit!"
