A Different World, a Timeline Without the Cell Games

"Impossible!"

After Lin Chen admitted that he was a Saiyan, Vegeta waved a hand. "The only Saiyans left in this world are me, Kakarot, and our sons. Where would any other Saiyans come from?"

Looking at Vegeta's disdainful expression, Lin Chen had to admit that the grown-up Vegeta standing before him was nowhere near as adorable as the little Vegeta from his world, who had begged Lin Chen to take him on as a student.

"You're both right and wrong. But I really am not a Saiyan from your world. I come from another timeline."

"Another timeline?"

In this world, Vegeta, Son Goku, and the others had all entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber one after another to defeat Androids 17 and 18, gaining power beyond Super Saiyan.

As a result, when Cell was in his second form, Vegeta didn't let him absorb Android 18 as he had in the main timeline. Instead, he finished Cell off right then and there.

But then Bulma laughed. "Even if he's a hero, he's still a guy who can't sing. Do you know why he's hiding off to the side? It's because he thinks he can't sing as well as Krillin and is embarrassed."

"Hahaha!"

Everyone burst out laughing.

"Bulma!" Vegeta suddenly jumped out from behind a cherry tree, glaring as he shouted her name.

Just then, the sky above them suddenly darkened. A huge spaceship appeared right in front of them.

They're here!

Lin Chen's eyes lit up.

The others all stood up, on their guard.

"Trunks! Is that ship...?" Gohan asked.

"Yes. It looks like there's a Saiyan on board!" Trunks nodded.

"Hmph! What's with today? Why is another Saiyan showing up? Lynx, is he a friend of yours?" Vegeta asked, his haughty expression back in place.

"No, I don't know that ship or the Saiyan on board," Lin Chen replied.

As everyone discussed what was happening, the ship finally landed on the grass not far away. Then a large group of aliens wearing purple armor emerged and rushed toward them.
