Ultra Divine Water

Inside a picturesque villa, Bulma gazed at the gluttonous man before her. Though his table manners were crude, the more she looked, the more she found herself liking him. Her cheeks flushed slightly, her mind wandering to who knows where...

"Hey, Bulma, why are you staring at me? Don't tell me you've taken a fancy to this great man?" Vegeta teased, his hands never stopping as he shoveled food into his mouth.

"As if! This lady wouldn't fall for a bottomless pit like you," Bulma retorted, though her words lacked conviction.

In a whirlwind of activity...

The massive dining table was left completely bare; every plate and bowl was wiped clean.

Vegeta picked his teeth with a toothpick and remarked, "Barely seventy percent full."

"Seventy percent? Are you a pig? Even pigs don't eat as much as you, seriously..." Bulma gasped in shock.

"This is nothing. We Saiyans spend our entire lives in battle. Our digestion is incredibly efficient; basically, all the food we consume is converted into combat energy. Even when we aren't fighting, it gets stored within our bodies," Vegeta said dismissively.

"No wonder Goku is such a glutton, always stuffing his face after every fight," Bulma noted.

"Alright, Bulma, I have a favor to ask. Help me modify my spaceship. Add a gravity room, and make the upper limit as high as possible. As for the rest, do whatever you think is best—just make it comfortable. It's too small and cramped as it is. Here's the remote; press this button, and it will fly to your location," Vegeta said, handing the remote to Bulma.

Bulma's eyes lit up as she stared at the device. After all, to a genius scientist, there was nothing more exhilarating than researching new technology.

In the bizarre world of Dragon Ball, Earth lacked the technology for space exploration, let alone interstellar travel, yet it possessed magical storage items like the Hoi-Poi Capsule, much like the storage rings in fantasy novels. Moreover, in Vegeta's past memories, he had never seen such things on other planets. It truly was a strange plane of existence.

Boom... crash... A spherical spacecraft descended straight into the front yard of Bulma's estate.

"Bulma, it's in your hands. I have some business to attend to; I'll come find you in two days!" Before the words even faded, Vegeta used the Flight technique and soared into the sky.

"Jerk! What does he take me for, someone he can summon and dismiss at will?" Bulma shouted at the departing Vegeta. "Whatever. A spaceship, how fascinating... Hmph, I'm only doing this because I'm interested, not because I'm helping you!" she muttered to herself.

I've sensed it. That's the direction... two weak energy signatures, Vegeta thought to himself.

Hospital.

"Ah... it hurts... no... don't..." Goku wailed in agony and terror.

Everyone watched as the man who hadn't made a sound while his bones were shattered now shrieked in fear of a simple injection. They wanted to laugh, but the situation felt inappropriate. Their faces turned beet red, until Krillin finally couldn't hold it in and burst into loud laughter.

Suddenly, those capable of sensing energy all looked toward the same direction in unison.

Krillin said in horror, "Vegeta... why is he flying toward the Lookout? Could he be going to kill the Guardian of Earth?"

Floating in the air outside the window, Piccolo said, "I'll go check. It shouldn't be possible; I don't sense any killing intent from him." With that, Piccolo took off toward the Lookout. After all, if the Guardian of Earth died, he would perish too, and he still wanted to see his homeland.

In the blink of an eye, Vegeta arrived beneath the Lookout, at the residence of Korin. He stopped abruptly and flew onto the platform.

Korin looked at the man with hair standing up like flames and asked, his body trembling uncontrollably, "What... what are you... doing here?!"

"Don't be nervous. I just heard that Kakarot drank the Ultra Divine Water here to unlock his potential when he was a child. This great man wants to see what it tastes like," Vegeta said.

Korin let out a sigh of relief. "You scared me. I thought you were here to kill me... The Ultra Divine Water, is it? That stuff won't do much for you now. You're already an adult, and your potential is mostly tapped out."

"Don't look at me with your Earthling perspective. I am the Prince of Saiyans, and my potential is endless. Enough talk, bring it here for me to taste," Vegeta said haughtily.

"Fine, but I'm warning you: drinking that stuff causes immense pain throughout the body. If something happens to you, don't blame me. Follow me," Korin said, leading Vegeta to a secret chamber on the lower level.

Korin walked to the end and pulled a strange bottle from a recess in the wall, handing it to Vegeta. "Here. When you drink it, control your energy so you don't destroy Korin Tower!" With that, he headed back up, leaving Vegeta alone.

Vegeta stared at the half-pound bottle, catching a whiff of a pungent, stinging odor. He gritted his teeth, raised the bottle, and downed it in one gulp. A powerful, burning sensation surged down his throat and into his stomach. Suddenly, his whole body began to tremble, his muscles twitching uncontrollably. A feeling of agonizing weakness mixed with overwhelming power flooded his entire being.

He couldn't hold it back any longer and let out a roar, "Ya... ah..." His energy erupted uncontrollably, causing the entire Korin Tower and the ground for ten miles around to shake.

At the Lookout, the Guardian of Earth sensed the energy, cold sweat streaming down his forehead. In the sky, Piccolo suddenly stopped mid-flight, nearly plummeting under the pressure of that aura.

"You beast... I told you to control your energy, yet you still let out such a powerful blast!" Korin gripped his staff in one hand and the railing with the other, his feet lifting off the ground.

Five minutes later...

Vegeta panted heavily, slowly reining in his exploding energy until everything returned to silence. He was drenched in sweat. He truly hadn't expected it to be this painful.

System, open personal interface, Vegeta thought.

Personal Interface Name: Vegeta Race: Saiyan Combat Power: 58,000 Skills: Artificial Moon, Galick Gun, Galick Cannon, Prince Tactics Special Combat Skill: Killing Intent Fist Level 1 (5x Combat Power boost) Super Saiyan: Not Awakened (S-Cells: 35%)

Vegeta stared at the interface, looking at the increase in S-Cells, and asked, "System, what's going on? Does drinking the Ultra Divine Water also help increase S-Cells?"

The system's cold, mechanical voice replied, "S-Cells are already present within the host's body. Any act of excavating potential will lead to an indeterminate increase and development of S-Cells. However, the Ultra Divine Water contains strong toxins. While it can develop S-Cells, it is akin to quenching thirst with poison. The host might slowly purge the toxins this time, but if consumed again, the system cannot guarantee the outcome."

After hearing the system's explanation, Vegeta's thoughts came to a sudden halt. Perhaps the viral heart disease Kakarot contracted later in life had something to do with the Ultra Divine Water. Forget it. I have the system and Bulma; there are plenty of ways to increase my combat power. My health is more important.
