Arrival, Mission

A month later, in the middle of a vast ocean, sat a small, exquisite island. Inside the cottage on the island, the Earth's warriors were gathered. Anyone familiar with the original story would recognize them: sitting around a small table were Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Master Roshi, Bulma, Chi-Chi, and the Ox-King!

"Time is running out, let's hurry and summon the Dragon to resurrect Sun Wukong!" Bulma said excitedly. To bring him back, she had spent the entire year diligently searching for the Dragon Balls, while the others had been training hard for the coming battle.

On King Kai's Planet:

"Wukong, this is terrible. I was so focused on your training time that I forgot it takes time for you to travel from Snake Way back to King Yemma. Those two Saiyans are about to land!" North Kai said in a panic, looking at his sturdy disciple.

Wukong's hand flickered with a faint light as he threw it forcefully toward a series of scattered stone pillars, shattering them instantly. It was North Kai's second ultimate technique: the Spirit Bomb! That powerful, righteous energy sphere was both exhilarating and terrifying to behold.

"King Kai, what should I do? Even with my improved strength, it will probably take me three hours just to get from Snake Way to King Yemma..." Wukong asked urgently.

"There's no other way. We can only hope your friends on Earth can hold out until you return," North Kai replied.

"You must leave now. I can already hear Bulma preparing to summon the Dragon to revive you," King Kai added anxiously.

"Understood, I'm leaving now. Chi-Chi, Gohan, everyone—please, hold on until I get back!" Wukong said.

With a powerful stomp and a slight bend of his knees, Wukong leaped into the air. In the blink of an eye, he was already on Snake Way.

"Whoa, I feel so light! My body is like a feather," Wukong exclaimed excitedly to himself. He bounded ten meters high with every step on Snake Way, moving forward in a parabolic arc like an Angry Bird.

"This isn't the time to be happy. I have to get back as fast as I can; the Saiyans are almost here," Wukong reminded himself. Surrounded by a blue aura, his body shot forward like a rocket.

The Saiyans were a warrior race. In Sun Wukong's mind, it wasn't just about protecting the Earth; it was about fighting powerful opponents. Ever since he learned the Saiyans were coming, his body hadn't stopped trembling—not from fear, but from a burning desire for battle.

Inside the spaceship:

"Ding. The system detects the host is about to arrive on Earth. Issuing new mission," a cold, mechanical voice droned.

Vegeta opened his eyes and muttered, "Almost there? I slept for another month; my body feels stiff. After this fight, I'll have to make Bulma upgrade my ship—the Gravity Chamber, the shower area... She's my future wife, so that's not too much to ask, right?" A cold, wicked smirk spread across Vegeta's face, his mouth stretching nearly to his ears. Aside from the ship, it seemed he wanted to claim the woman as well!

"As the Strongest Choice System, I am issuing three missions for the host to choose from. Different choices yield different rewards," the system stated.

"Choice one: Kill everyone on Earth. Reward: 50,000 combat power."

"Choice two: Defeat Sun Wukong. Reward: A skill superior to Kaio-ken (the specific skill will be revealed after the host chooses)."

"Choice three: Destroy the Earth immediately. Reward: A title, 'Heartless Killer.' Attribute: Everyone who sees you will want to stay far away."

"Since the host's current strength completely crushes Sun Wukong, the reward will be issued after the mission is completed."

Damn system.

Vegeta stared at the three missions displayed by the system and thought, "Combat power is easy to increase, but a skill better than Kaio-ken is what will decide if I can finally shed the title of 'perennial runner-up.' As for the third mission, that's clearly just the system padding the numbers."

"System, I choose two: defeat Sun Wukong," Vegeta declared.

Although in the original story, Wukong's combat power reached 8,000 and the Kaio-ken boost made Vegeta suffer, the current Vegeta didn't just have 12,000 combat power. With the 10,000 combat power from the beginner's gift pack, crushing Sun Wukong should be no problem.

Above Earth, a deafening roar echoed as two spaceships slammed into the ground at near-light speed. In the city, two massive craters formed, and the circular hatches of the ships slowly began to open!
