Bulma Arrives

"Come on, Goku."

Ziye's expression tightened, and he immediately braced himself for combat!

Goku leaped lightly, soaring seven or eight meters into the air before using the momentum of his descent to strike at Ziye like a small missile.

Bang!

Ziye channeled every ounce of strength in his body into a fierce collision with Goku. A violent explosion rang out, and Ziye was sent flying backward by the kick!

Lying on the ground, Ziye felt a searing, stinging pain in his arms. It felt as if the bones inside were about to snap, and he winced, baring his teeth in agony.

"Hehe, again!"

"Ever since Grandpa died, I haven't encountered an opponent this strong."

Goku laughed with excitement, completely ignoring Ziye as he lay on the ground, and charged forward once more.

Seeing this, Ziye didn't dare to be careless. He performed a kip-up to his feet, dodged Goku's attack with a slight shift of his body, and threw a punch in one fluid motion.

"You fell for it!"

Goku let out a cunning laugh, grabbed Ziye's arm in a vice-like grip, and began to spin rapidly. After being whipped around a few times, Ziye was tossed away!

"Wait, I'm done playing!"

Seeing that Goku wasn't satisfied yet, Ziye hurriedly called out to stop him, then lay on the ground, dizzy and disoriented.

"Alright then!"

A flicker of disappointment crossed Goku's eyes, but he didn't press the matter further.

Grumble...

"Let's go inside and eat!"

As Goku's round belly let out a loud rumble, he lost all interest in fighting. He smiled at Ziye and ran into the house.

Ziye stood up, covered in dust. Just as he was about to follow him inside, he was suddenly drawn to a cyan orb of light that had appeared nearby.

"That thing appeared again?"

Ziye ran over excitedly. The orb was much the same as the last one, only the number inside had changed to "+1."

Without hesitation, Ziye reached out his palm. As a faint, warm current flowed through his body once more, he felt his strength increase by a fraction in an instant.

"Does this thing only appear when I'm fighting?"

"Does the number on it correspond to combat power?"

Ziye rubbed his chin, speaking with a hint of confusion.

"Ziye, what are you doing? The food is ready!"

Goku's voice from inside the house interrupted Ziye's thoughts. Snapping back to reality, he headed straight for the room.

One month later.

Under a clear, sunny sky, in a simple courtyard, two young children stood facing each other, carefully sizing one another up.

"Goku, you might not be my match this time!"

Ziye smiled lightly, his face full of confidence.

"That's not necessarily true."

Goku shook his head and charged forward at high speed. However, a month of training had brought Ziye's strength to a new height; facing Goku's speed and power, Ziye appeared completely at ease.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The two exchanged several punches, neither gaining any advantage. Goku's face was solemn, while Ziye looked remarkably relaxed.

"Hey."

"Ziye, are you looking down on me? Use your full strength, will you!"

Goku shook his head, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Alright, but you'd better be careful!"

With that, Ziye's figure moved like a phantom. Before Goku could react, a palm had already landed solidly against his body.

"That hurts."

"I really underestimated you."

Goku clutched his chest, speaking with excitement.

"Goku, let's call it a day. You're no longer my match!"

"It's getting late, and it's my turn to go find food today. You stay here and chop the firewood; I'll be back soon!"

Without waiting for Goku's agreement, Ziye stepped out and ran off.

A month of training had allowed Ziye to move freely through this dangerous mountain range, and he now had a basic understanding of his "cheat" ability.

Whenever he fought someone, they would randomly drop varying amounts of combat power, which he could then absorb to increase his own strength. The higher the opponent's strength or the more severe his own injuries, the higher the combat power dropped.

Conversely, if the opponent's strength was on par with his own, the chance of dropping combat power was much lower. And in a situation like today, where his combat power had far surpassed Goku's, even if he were to intentionally get injured, no combat power would drop!

Roar!

The sudden bestial cry interrupted Ziye's train of thought. He focused his gaze to find three Saber-toothed Tigers blocking his path.

Ziye narrowed his eyes, his expression grave as he spoke, "If I recall correctly, it was your kin that chased me around when I first arrived here, wasn't it? In that case, don't blame me for being impolite!"

With that, Ziye let out a cold sneer and moved with lightning speed, his ghostly pace leaving the three Saber-toothed Tigers completely bewildered.

The next second, Ziye descended from mid-air, landing a heavy kick squarely on the back of one of the beasts. Unable to withstand the explosive force, the Saber-toothed Tiger collapsed, knocked unconscious instantly!

The other two Saber-toothed Tigers seemed to realize they had run into a tough opponent. No longer caring about their companion's fate, they turned and attempted to flee!

"Want to run? No way. Be good and stay here to serve as our food!"

Ziye stomped his foot hard, leaping instantly in front of the two tigers. He threw out both fists, and the tigers coughed up blood, dying on the spot!

"Hiss..."

"I used too much force; I've covered myself in blood."

Ziye wiped the blood splattered on his face and body with a look of disgust, then used the rope he had prepared to bind the three tigers together.

"Goku's appetite is becoming more and more astonishing. These three tigers should be enough!"

Ziye chuckled softly, hoisted the tigers onto his shoulder, and began walking toward home.

Beep beep beep beep...

After walking for about three minutes, a familiar noise suddenly rang out from behind him. Ziye frowned, turning around with a hint of impatience.

Bang!

Who would have thought that the moment he turned around, he would be sent flying by a passing car.

"Oh no, I hit someone!"

A young, beautiful girl stepped out of the car. Seeing Ziye covered in blood, she rushed over to check on him.

"Hey, do you even know how to drive?"

Ziye frowned, stood up, and immediately began berating the girl standing before him.

"Monster, monster!"

After a moment of shock, the girl scrambled backward. She had never seen someone get hit by a car and stand up completely unscathed, and with Ziye covered in blood, he looked truly terrifying.

"Don't come any closer! If you come any closer, I'll shoot!"

The girl panicked, ran to the front of the car, pulled out a handgun, and aimed it at Ziye.
