The Red Ribbon Army

"Who are you?" Tao Pai Pai's expression changed drastically as he stared at Ziye in shock. He hadn't expected anyone to be able to stop his Dodon Ray, and he immediately demanded an answer.

"The one who's going to kill you!"

As he spoke, a faint murderous intent appeared on Ziye's face. He suddenly moved, reaching Tao Pai Pai in the blink of an eye. Before Tao Pai Pai could react, Ziye threw a punch. The next moment, Tao Pai Pai was sent flying dozens of meters away!

"N-no... Impossible! I actually lost to a brat like you?" Tao Pai Pai endured the pain and struggled to his feet, shouting angrily.

"Die! Dodon Ray!"

"Pathetic trick!"

Facing the golden energy wave hurtling toward him, Ziye scoffed. Then he gave it a light slap, sending the wave flying into the sky.

"Let me show you my"

"Dodon Ray."

Ziye gave a cold laugh, then raised a finger and tapped lightly. An energy wave identical to Tao Pai Pai's shot out, piercing straight through his chest.

"Y-you... How... How do you know Dodon Ray?" Blood trickled from the corner of Tao Pai Pai's mouth as he asked in shock.

"I forgot to tell you. No matter what technique it is, I can learn it after seeing it just once!"

Hearing Ziye's answer, Tao Pai Pai's eyes drooped, and he fell into a pool of blood.

"Ziye, you've gotten so strong! Did you drink the Ultra Divine Water?" Goku ran over and asked excitedly.

"Something like that!" Ziye scratched his head and replied.

"By the way, Goku, did you find your grandfather's keepsake?"

"Yeah!"

Goku nodded firmly, then took the Four-Star Ball from his pocket and showed it to Ziye.

"But I've only found four Dragon Balls so far. The rest should all be in the Red Ribbon Army's hands! They're bad guys, so we can't let them get the Dragon Balls!"

Goku clenched his fist and said indignantly. Then he looked at Upa, who was crying nearby, and asked Ziye:

"By the way, Ziye, can the Dragon Balls bring Upa's dad back to life?"

"They probably can!"

Ziye stroked his chin as he answered.

"Really, big brother?"

"Ziye wouldn't lie!"

"I'm going to the Red Ribbon Army right now and take the rest of the Dragon Balls!" Goku said excitedly.

Seeing Goku about to leave, Ziye called out to him. "Goku, leave the Dragon Balls to me! You should go train at Korin Tower."

Hearing that, Goku scratched his head and said with a grin, "Oh, right! That works! Seeing how strong you've gotten does make me feel a little jealous, haha!"

"Then once you've gotten stronger, we'll have a proper fight," Ziye said softly.

"Okay!"

Goku nodded seriously.

Then Ziye took the Dragon Radar from Goku and followed its directions to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters.

Red Ribbon Base

A man with orange hair and a black eyepatch anxiously stared at the computer screen before him. Beside him stood a Black man in a suit who was twice his height.

"Why hasn't that Tao Pai Pai brought me the Dragon Balls yet?"

"B-bad news! There's a kid outside who's fighting his way in!"

Suddenly, one of his men rushed recklessly into the room and reported to him.

"What!"

"What are you useless fools even doing?"

The man stood up and shouted angrily at his subordinate. Then he turned on the computer screen and muttered, "Could Tao Pai Pai have lost? Strange, that isn't the kid from before?"

On the screen, Ziye was charging furiously into the Red Ribbon Base. Machine guns, missiles, and tanks were all completely unable to hurt him.

"Damn it! Where did this kid come from?" the man yelled, angrily slapping the table.

"Use every weapon we have! Kill him!"

"Yes, sir!"

With that, the subordinate hurried out of the room.

"You don't have to kill me. I'm right here!"

The moment the subordinate ran out, Ziye burst through the window and landed right in front of the man. He held out a hand and said coldly, "Hand over the Dragon Balls, and I'll make your death quick."

"N-no way!"

The man clutched the Dragon Balls on the table, speaking nervously.

"Then I'll just take them myself."

"Dodon Ray!"

Ziye lightly tapped his finger, and a golden energy wave pierced straight through the man's head. Two Dragon Balls rolled onto the floor.

After collecting the Dragon Balls, Ziye went to the base's secret storeroom. Inside, he found countless treasures of gold and silver!

"Wow, no wonder they're known as the world's strongest army. But now all of this belongs to me, haha!"

As he spoke, Ziye took out a few Hoi-Poi Capsules and excitedly packed every last bit of treasure into them.

"With this much money, Goku and I could probably live for several lifetimes!" Ziye said with a grin, looking at the five capsules packed to the brim in his hand.

After his big haul, Ziye left the storeroom in high spirits. By then, the Red Ribbon Army soldiers at the base had stopped attacking him. As the saying went, when the tree fell, the monkeys scattered. Everyone had started fleeing, and in an instant, the entire base was deserted.

Ziye couldn't be bothered to chase after the fleeing soldiers. Even if he exhausted himself, he still might not find them all. He quickly left the Red Ribbon Army base and returned to Korin Tower.

"Big brother, you're back!"

When Upa saw Ziye, he ran over as fast as he could.

Ziye nodded slightly, then stroked his chin and said, "Goku still hasn't come down? I'll go check on him!"

With that, Ziye hurried up Korin Tower!

Goku was doing his best to snatch the Ultra Divine Water from Korin's staff, but he still couldn't keep up with Korin's speed!

"Damn it, I refuse to believe I can't get it!"

Goku scratched his head in frustration and charged at Korin again. But no matter how hard he tried, he still couldn't keep up. In the end, he collapsed to the ground, exhausted!

"What's wrong? You're nowhere near as good as Ziye!"

Hearing those words, Goku reacted as if he'd been provoked. He sprang to his feet and charged at Korin again.

"Goku, I'm back!"

Ziye's voice suddenly rang out, interrupting Goku and Korin. They both turned to look at him.

"Goku, I only found two Dragon Balls at the Red Ribbon Army base, but the Radar can't show me where the last one is!" Ziye handed Goku the Dragon Radar and explained calmly.

"Let me see!"

Goku took the Dragon Radar and examined it carefully. He found that, just as Ziye had said, the location of the seventh Dragon Ball had disappeared.

"Looks like the Dragon Radar is broken. We'll have to go find Bulma!"

At Bulma's name, Ziye's face flushed slightly, and he involuntarily pictured her bathing.
