Tao Pai Pai

The blurry image in the water gradually came into focus. Bulma's snow-white skin was fully exposed to view as droplets streamed down her body and fell onto the bathroom floor.

"Who? Who's talking?"

"That sounds like Ziye's voice?"

"You big pervert! You're spying on me while I'm bathing! Get out here right now!"

Bulma covered her snow-white breasts, her face flushed as she shouted angrily.

Just as Ziye was about to speak, the image in the water blurred again, then disappeared completely!

"What's going on?"

Ziye reached into the water and fished around, then asked in confusion.

"What you just saw was only what you imagined!"

Suddenly, a strange voice rang out. Ziye quickly turned around and saw a chubby white cat standing before him, leaning on a cane.

"Not bad, young man. You actually made it all the way up here!" The white cat licked his paw.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Korin. You came here looking for the Ultra Divine Water, didn't you?" the white cat asked calmly.

"The Ultra Divine Water?"

Hearing the familiar name, Ziye couldn't help smiling. He then gave a casual nod.

"The Ultra Divine Water is in this bottle!"

"But before that, I want to ask you something. Why do you want to become stronger?"

"Don't lie. I call myself a sage, and I know the most basic mind-reading technique."

The white cat narrowed his eyes and spoke solemnly.

"I simply want to become strong. If I have to give a reason, it's because I want to survive better!" Ziye answered seriously.

"Survive? That's a novel reason! With your current strength, there don't seem to be many people in the world who could beat you." The white cat was taken aback, then spoke again.

"Just because there aren't any now doesn't mean there won't be any later! Aren't you a sage? You should be able to tell whether I'm telling the truth." Ziye's expression remained calm.

Hearing this, the white cat gave a wry smile and shook his head. "To be honest, your mind is strange. Sometimes it's as calm as a lake, and sometimes it's as turbulent as the sea. I can't see anything!"

"But I'm happy to give you the Ultra Divine Water!"

"Oh? Why?" Ziye asked in confusion.

"I trust your master's judgment. He wouldn't be wrong!"

"But first, you have to defeat me!" the white cat replied calmly.

The next second, Ziye moved, charging toward him at full speed. He clenched his fist and threw a punch with all his strength!

At the last moment, however, a strange smile appeared on the white cat's face. He moved lightly and effortlessly dodged Ziye's attack, then swung his cane and struck Ziye on the head.

"Ahh, that hurts!" Ziye said, clutching his head.

"Come on, young man. Let's keep going."

"Okay!"

Ziye got to his feet, his expression turning serious. The next moment, the two clashed again.

Half a month later

"Korin, you might not be able to beat me this time!"

Ziye chuckled softly. His body split into dozens of afterimages that surrounded the white cat, leaving him dazzled.

"Damn it, how did this brat improve so quickly? Ever since I accidentally injured him badly a few days ago, his strength suddenly surged!" The white cat gritted his teeth and spoke angrily.

"Enough. I'm done fighting. I give up! The Ultra Divine Water is yours!"

"Heh, Korin, you didn't really think I didn't know it was just plain water, did you?" Ziye rubbed his nose and smiled.

"Th-this... I didn't expect you to find out!" The white cat looked a little embarrassed.

Goku had already reached the base of Korin Tower. He was fighting a middle-aged man—the world's greatest assassin, Tao Pai Pai.

Nearby lay a burly man, his body pierced by a spear. It was the same man Ziye had seen earlier. His son, Upa, was hunched over him, weeping bitterly!

"You bastard!" Seeing the man had been killed, Goku flew into a rage. He gathered all his strength and charged at his opponent!

"Don't make me laugh!"

Tao Pai Pai remained perfectly calm, seemingly unconcerned by Goku's attack. With a light jump, he dodged Goku's full-strength strike, then landed a kick to Goku's vitals and sent him flying!

"Damn it..."

Goku gritted his teeth and struggled to his feet, enduring the pain.

"Oh? You're still alive!"

A flicker of surprise crossed Tao Pai Pai's face. Then killing intent surged through him. He vanished in a flash and appeared before Goku in the blink of an eye.

Thud!

He kicked Goku in the stomach. Goku cried out in pain and flew into the air. Tao Pai Pai didn't give him a chance to react. He moved again, reaching Goku in an instant, clasped both hands together, and brought them down hard!

"Ah!"

Goku cried out as he fell from the sky and slammed into the ground, leaving a small crater.

"What a weak little brat!"

Tao Pai Pai said disdainfully and was just about to turn away when he heard Goku's voice again. He stopped in his tracks.

"Ow... It hurts... It hurts so much!"

Clutching his wounds, Goku struggled painfully to his feet and cried out.

"What?"

"You're still alive after all that?"

Tao Pai Pai looked utterly astonished. His expression turned vicious as he snarled, "In that case, don't blame me for showing no mercy!"

"Dodon Ray! Die, you little turtle!"

Tao Pai Pai's expression hardened. He pointed his finger at Goku, and a blast of golden energy shot out!

Boom!

A huge explosion erupted, and white smoke billowed around Goku, blocking Tao Pai Pai's view!

"Goku..."

Tears filled Upa's eyes as he shouted.

"He ought to be dead now."

Tao Pai Pai said calmly.

"You're the one who's going to die!"

"Big brother?"

Upa cried out excitedly.

As the smoke cleared, Ziye appeared in front of Goku, having blocked the deadly attack for him.

"Goku, are you all right?"

"Ziye, what are you doing here?" Goku asked excitedly.
