"Ziye, how do you have such a massive gemstone?" Bulma asked, her face full of astonishment.
Hearing this, Ziye rubbed his nose and said with a smile, "I looted this from the Red Ribbon Base. How could I not have some money prepared in this world?"
"Ziye, you really are thoughtful!"
Goku nodded repeatedly as he spoke.
"Wait a moment! We choose to accept the challenge!" Suddenly, Master Roshi snatched the gemstone right out of Fortuneteller Baba's hand and declared.
"Goku, Ziye, Krillin, this is a great opportunity for training. You must seize it!"
"You lecherous old man, give that gemstone back to me right now!" Fortuneteller Baba flew into a rage instantly and charged toward Master Roshi.
"You wouldn't want to break your own rules, would you?" Master Roshi asked again.
"You..."
"Fine, you win."
"Follow me!"
With that, Fortuneteller Baba sat on her Crystal Ball and turned to leave, and Ziye and the others hurriedly followed!
"Alright, this is the place!"
Fortuneteller Baba suddenly stopped, turned to Ziye and the others, and said, "Next, you must compete against my five warriors. If you win, I will tell your fortunes for free!"
"I thought it was something serious? Don't say I didn't warn you, Baba, but the three of us made it to the top four of the World Martial Arts Tournament. Our strength is not to be underestimated!" Krillin said with a smug look on his face.
"Then I shall see for myself!"
Fortuneteller Baba said with a wicked grin.
"What are the rules?"
Ziye asked calmly.
"There are no rules. Surrendering or falling into the lake counts as a loss!" Fortuneteller Baba explained.
"That sounds simple enough!"
Krillin waved his hand, speaking with total indifference.
"And you, who do you plan to send out first?" Fortuneteller Baba suddenly asked.
"Let me go first!"
Krillin stepped forward, hands on his hips, wearing a look of pure confidence as he spoke.
"Krillin, go for it!"
Goku shouted excitedly.
"Goku, Ziye, I'm afraid you won't even get a chance to step onto the stage. I can defeat them all by myself!" Krillin turned around, rubbed his nose, and said confidently.
"This brat, getting carried away again! He didn't listen to a word I said. Maybe letting him suffer a little will do him some good," Master Roshi muttered, his brows furrowed in annoyance.
"Krillin, be careful," Ziye suddenly warned.
"It's fine, just watch me," Krillin said, waving his hand dismissively.
"Vampire... you can come out now!"
Hearing Fortuneteller Baba's words, Krillin scratched his head and said in confusion, "Vampire? What a strange name."
The next second, a gray bat flew out and landed in front of Krillin.
"It's just a little bat? You want me to duel a thing like this?"
Krillin couldn't help but find it amusing, speaking with disdain.
Bang.
Following that, the bat suddenly emitted a puff of white mist and transformed into a scrawny human wearing strange boxing gloves!
"This guy looks like he's really weak!"
"The match begins!"
"Take this!"
As Fortuneteller Baba's voice faded, Krillin leaped into the air and launched a flying kick toward the Vampire!
However, the Vampire suddenly transformed back into a bat, dodging Krillin's attack, and then utilized his aerial advantage to launch a frantic assault on Krillin.
The next second, the Vampire dove rapidly from the sky behind Krillin, suddenly shifted back into his human form, wrapped himself tightly around Krillin, and sank his sharp fangs into Krillin's head.
"Ah! It hurts! Let go of me!"
Krillin's expression changed drastically as he felt the blood being drained from his body continuously.
Soon, Krillin collapsed to the ground from blood loss, and the Vampire released him, sparing his life.
"The match is decided, the Vampire wins."
As Fortuneteller Baba's voice faded, the Pink Ghost hurried over to Krillin with a blood transfusion device, and soon Krillin's complexion began to recover.
"For the next round, I'll go!"
Ziye stepped forward, his expression calm as he spoke.
"Be careful, Ziye, that guy looks so terrifying!" Bulma said, her face full of worry.
"Don't worry!"
"Hey, looking at your tender skin, your blood must taste even better, right?" The Vampire stared at Ziye, drool dripping onto the ground.
"I'm afraid you won't have the luck to enjoy it!"
"Alright, the match begins!"
As Fortuneteller Baba's voice rang out again, the Vampire, drooling profusely, charged toward Ziye at high speed.
Ziye sneered and immediately shaped his body into a cross. Seeing this, the Vampire was startled and fled in a panic!
"Dodon Ray!"
Ziye lightly pointed his finger, and a golden beam of energy shot out, striking the bat directly and knocking it into the water.
"Great, he won, he won!"
Goku jumped up in excitement.
"You... how do you know the Dodon Ray?"
Master Roshi asked with a look of astonishment.
"This? I saw Tao Pai Pai use it once, so I learned it!" Ziye replied with a smile.
"I... I see. I forgot you had that kind of talent!" Master Roshi nodded and said.
"You can send out your next fighter!"
"My second fighter has already entered the arena. Can't you see him?"
Fortuneteller Baba suddenly said with a smile.
"Alright, enough chatter! Now, the second match begins!"
Bang!
Suddenly, a gust of wind from a punch struck out. Hearing the sound, Ziye reacted instantly, narrowly dodging the opponent's attack!
"He actually dodged it? That's truly impressive!" Fortuneteller Baba nodded in admiration.
"The Invisible Man, huh? Interesting!"
Ziye chuckled and muttered to himself.
Bang!
"He hit him!"
Fortuneteller Baba shouted excitedly.
"I'm the one who caught him!"
Ziye gave a cold laugh, then gripped the Invisible Man's hand tightly. With a powerful swing, he threw the Invisible Man, leaving him severely injured. Ziye then dragged him by the hand to the edge of the lake and tossed him in!
"Well... you really do have some skills! Now I shall send out my third fighter!"
Fortuneteller Baba said, her lips trembling.
"Sister, this disciple of mine is not like ordinary people, you really shouldn't underestimate him!" Master Roshi reminded her with a smile.
"Sister?"
Hearing this form of address, the others couldn't help but be surprised.
"Since that's the case, the third match requires a change of venue. Follow me!"
With that, Fortuneteller Baba turned and floated toward the house, and Ziye and the others quickly followed.
"Where is she taking us this time?"
Krillin asked, puzzled.
"The Devil's Toilet."
Master Roshi replied calmly.
"What kind of place is that?"
"Remember my advice: just try not to die."
