Mysterious Man

"Right in hell! Go to hell, brat!"

The humanoid monster sneered, flapping the wings on his back to dive rapidly from the sky, charging straight at Goku!

Bang!

Goku chuckled, then stomped his foot. His internal power erupted instantly, and he landed a fierce punch on the monster's abdomen, sending him flying away in an instant.

"So... so fast!"

Krillin looked at Goku in surprise and said.

"Damn it, how is this brat so strong?" Fortuneteller Baba frowned and said angrily.

"You don't look strong at all."

Goku turned his head away, saying with a look of disdain.

"You wretched brat, how dare you spout such nonsense at Lord Devilman! This is unforgivable!"

"Now, I shall unleash my true power!"

With that, Devilman spread his wings, which began to emit a white, starlike glow. He pressed his hands together, aimed them at Goku, and said coldly, "No matter how kind a person is, they harbor evil thoughts in their heart. I will slowly amplify your evil thoughts until they explode inside your body!"

"Devil Beam!"

Devilman pointed his hands forward, and a purple beam shot out instantly, wrapping around Goku before erupting into a blinding light!

"Explode for me!"

Devilman roared at the top of his lungs.

"What kind of beam is that?"

"Nothing happened at all."

As the light gradually faded, Goku, who had been wrapped in the beam, stood there completely unharmed, scratching his head in confusion.

"Nani? This... this is impossible!"

Devilman stared at the scene in horror, his jaw dropping in shock!

"I don't believe anyone can be without evil thoughts! Take another one of my moves, Devil Ray!"

Devilman shook his head frantically, and the beam from his hands shot toward Goku once more. Yet, nothing changed; Goku remained standing there, unscathed!

"You... you... you actually have no... heart of evil!" Devilman's face changed drastically as he pointed at Goku, trembling.

"Are you done with your tricks? Now it's my turn!" Goku said, sounding a bit impatient.

Without a moment's hesitation, Goku leaped forward to attack, but the opponent suddenly pulled out a trident and thrust it viciously at him.

Swish!

Goku flashed aside, narrowly dodging the sharp blade, then retreated a few steps to steady himself.

"Despicable guy, using a weapon! In that case, I won't hold back!"

Goku narrowed his eyes and leaped high into the air. After flipping a few times, he clenched his fists and dove downward!

"You idiot brat, you're just a target for me!"

Devilman laughed, gripping his trident and thrusting it hard at the descending Goku.

Ha!

Just then, Goku let out a sharp shout, his body suddenly hovering in mid-air. Devilman's strike missed, and his expression changed instantly! Before he could react, Goku kicked him in the face! Landing on the ground, Goku used the force from his feet to launch another kick!

Bang!

Devilman was sent flying instantly, slamming directly into the stone statue of himself and falling unconscious.

"Huh?"

"I think I hit him too hard."

Goku rubbed his nose, saying awkwardly.

"To be able to defeat my four warriors is truly remarkable! But next, my fifth warrior is a very formidable martial arts master."

As Fortuneteller Baba's voice faded, a mysterious figure emerged from the darkness. He walked with his hands behind his back, wearing a tan-colored padded jacket. Most strangely, he wore a peculiar mask on his face, as if he were terrified of anyone knowing who he was.

"Baba, I have a small request! It is too cramped here; I hope to spar with this little guy in a more open space!" the Mysterious Man said to Fortuneteller Baba.

"Of course, no problem!"

Following Fortuneteller Baba, the group left the eerie, terrifying room and arrived at the grounds outside the palace!

"Come on, I'll definitely beat you!" Goku assumed a fighting stance.

"Haha, I'm looking forward to it."

With that, the Mysterious Man moved with incredible speed, appearing beside Goku in the blink of an eye, his fists and palms striking like the wind!

Goku remained calm, quickly shifting into a defensive stance to block the attacks. The two then engaged in a fierce battle!

The Mysterious Man's expression tightened. Seeing he couldn't gain the upper hand, he quickly put some distance between himself and Goku, then leaped into the air, using the momentum of his descent to kick fiercely at Goku.

"Goku, what are you doing? Get out of the way!" Krillin shouted anxiously.

Goku stood rooted to the spot, chest puffed out to meet the Mysterious Man's attack, letting the blow land squarely against him.

BANG!

The Mysterious Man landed his strike perfectly, then touched down steadily on the ground.

"Nani?"

The expression beneath the Mysterious Man's mask shifted, and he muttered in disbelief, "How on earth does this little guy train? He took my full-force strike without a scratch?"

"Heh, you're really strong! I'm going to get serious now!" Goku chuckled, speaking in a calm tone.

"In that case, have a taste of this!"

With that, the Mysterious Man bent his knees slightly and cupped his hands at his waist!

"No... no way!"

Goku's expression changed, and he said in surprise.

"Ka... me... ha... me..."

As the Mysterious Man finished his chant, a white pillar of energy erupted with a blinding light, shooting straight toward Goku.

"Where is he?"

As the light faded, Goku's figure had vanished from the spot!

"I'm up here!"

Suddenly, Goku's voice rang out. Everyone looked up to see him hovering dozens of meters in the air.

"This... when did he... I didn't even see him move!"

The Mysterious Man exclaimed in astonishment.

"Now, take this!"

"Ka... me... ha... me... HA!"

Goku chuckled, unleashing the Kamehameha from the air. A powerful shockwave descended; the Mysterious Man tried to scramble away, but he was still caught in the blast, tumbling across the ground before coming to a rest.

Goku dropped from the sky, delivering a heavy kick to the Mysterious Man's chest before landing on the ground.

"Sorry, I went a bit too hard that time!"

"But I have my reasons for needing to win!"

Goku looked down at the Mysterious Man lying on the ground, his face full of apology.

"If you still won't admit defeat, I won't hold back any—"

Before Goku could finish, the Mysterious Man launched a sneak attack, grabbing his tail!
