This giant mammoth, over ten meters long and seven meters tall, would barely be enough to feed hundreds of adult tribesmen if they were to eat it.

But for a Saiyan, that was nothing—a mere piece of cake.

"Awoo! Roar! Roar!" All the warriors of the tribe circled the two of them, letting out excited roars.

Axis waved his hand, greeting the warriors of the tribe.

"I think the great Wolf King will definitely win this time," one of the tribal warriors said.

"I think the Wolf King will still lose. Don't underestimate Axis; I've never seen a kid more terrifying than him!" Only those who had seen Axis eat knew just how terrifying this kid was when it came to food.

"Just watch! The great Wolf King will surely win."

Soon, Axis and Leman Russ arrived before the massive roasted mammoth. Looking at the golden-brown, glistening meat, Axis felt his appetite stir.

This planet was filled with all kinds of giant monsters; the Saiyans here certainly didn't have to worry about food and drink!

"How about we add a wager?" Axis rolled his eyes and looked at Leman Russ.

"What kind of wager?"

"Every time you say that if you win, I have to call you father, but I never get anything out of it. That's not fair to me. So, I demand a wager. From now on, if you want to challenge me, you have to put something on the line, otherwise, I won't accept the match," Axis said.

"Hahaha! You make a fair point. So, my little wolf cub, what gift do you want?" Leman Russ laughed and asked.

"How about this! I've gradually adapted to the environment of this planet. How about you act as my sparring partner starting tomorrow?" Axis said, squinting his eyes.

If a Saiyan had a sparring partner, their combat power would increase much faster, and this cheap foster father of his was the perfect candidate. He was already six years old now, his bones had stabilized, and he could handle some simple combat training. His foster father was quite capable; in just one year, Axis's combat power had increased by 50 points. Meanwhile, his foster father's combat power had risen to over 1,700—a true high-combat-power mutant.

"No problem, I agree," Leman Russ smiled at Axis and accepted.

He wants to learn how to fight at such a young age? Truly worthy of being my little wolf cub. Leman Russ was also curious to see how strong this kid was now; he wondered if he could compare to himself when he was young.

Axis nodded and walked with Leman Russ to the giant platter of roasted meat.

"Ready, start!" Following the command of a tribal warrior, the two immediately sprang into action. Leman Russ frantically shoved the roasted meat into his mouth. He had to show that kid what he was made of this time; he had been starving for three days, and his stomach had been growling! His appetite was at least double his usual amount!

Just as Leman Russ was furiously battling the meat, the surrounding tribal warriors wore expressions of astonishment.

"This, how is this possible?"

"This... this kid, is he really human?"

Hearing this, Leman Russ looked up and saw a scene that left him stunned. Axis had lunged directly onto the mammoth, opened his maw, and began to devour it frantically. It was as if he weren't eating roasted meat, but air; in a mere instant, he had picked a mammoth leg clean. And he showed no signs of stopping.

"Damn brat!" Leman Russ could no longer afford to watch; he began shoving food into his mouth frantically, swallowing it whole without even chewing.

An hour later, Axis patted his round, bulging belly with satisfaction, sitting amidst the giant skeleton of the mammoth. Leman Russ had eaten one leg and a basin of meat, but the rest was all his; he had only reached ten-tenths fullness with this meal!

Axis turned his head to look and saw that his cheap foster father, Leman Russ, had eaten until he was stiff. He couldn't even sit up straight and had to sit on his chair with his legs spread, his mouth occasionally making retching motions; he had clearly reached his limit, with food backed up to his throat. His eyes had even gone vacant, looking like he didn't know who he was, where he was, or what he was doing.

"How pathetic! Looks like I won!" Axis walked over with a grin and squatted down.

"You brat, just you wait! Ugh! I will definitely beat you, but a deal is a deal—I'll spar with you from now on." Leman Russ spat out some excess food from his throat and panted.

This kid is truly a monster! He relied on his resilient body to consume three times his usual intake, forcing himself to the point of being unable to handle it! Seeing the kid looking completely fine by comparison was a huge blow to Leman Russ.

"It's a deal then. You should rest for today! You don't look so good; you can barely even walk!" Axis wore a smug expression.

"Damn you! You little brat!" Leman Russ glared and roared.

He was so frustrated! Just you wait, you little brat! Tomorrow, I'm going to put you through the wringer.

Early the next morning, Leman Russ, having returned to his normal state, brought Axis to an ice field he had specifically chosen as their training ground.

"How are we going to train?" Axis stretched his limbs and practiced a few jumps before asking.

"The best way to train is naturally through sparring, isn't that what you said? Bring it on." Leman Russ tossed his cloak onto the ground and beckoned to Axis with his finger.

"Then I won't hold back! Take this!" Axis's gaze turned sharp in an instant; his body sprang up like a cheetah as he charged straight at Leman Russ.

Axis's eyes suddenly became as sharp as blades, as if they could slice through the air. His body sank slightly, muscles tensed like a fully drawn bow, ready to strike.

The next second, he stomped his feet against the ground, causing fine cracks to spiderweb across the ice. He shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, rushing toward Leman Russ with a whistling wind.

"Take this!" Axis let out a low shout, his right leg whipping out with a fierce, air-tearing sound, aiming straight for Leman Russ's face.

This kick was as fast as lightning and full of power, as if it had torn the very air apart.

Leman Russ remained calm and unhurried, simply raising his left hand to block the strike steadily, his palm as firm as an iron wall.

The moment fist and foot collided, a visible shockwave erupted between them. The surrounding ice shattered, sending shards flying everywhere, and the air was filled with a biting chill.

Axis used the momentum to retreat, tapping his toes lightly on the ice. His body soared into the air as gracefully as a swallow, spinning mid-flight. He raised his right leg high and brought it crashing down toward Leman Russ's head with the force of a thunderbolt.

This strike was as heavy as a mountain, its momentum staggering.

However, Leman Russ still used only one hand, catching the leg steadily like an iron vice. His figure didn't budge an inch; Axis's attack felt as though it had struck a wall of copper and iron, having no effect at all.

"Speed is decent, but the power is lacking." Leman Russ smiled faintly, his tone carrying a hint of approval, yet also a touch of mockery.

A flicker of defiance flashed in Axis's eyes. Upon landing, he immediately launched a storm-like offensive.

His fists rained down upon Leman Russ, each strike carrying astonishing power. The wind of his punches whistled, as if the very air were being shredded by his blows.

Leman Russ continued to use only one hand, his palm dancing through the air like a phantom, easily parrying every one of Axis's punches.

Each collision between fist and palm erupted with a dull thud, sending visible ripples of air pressure outward. The surrounding ice cracked continuously, with shards scattering in all directions.

Axis's offensive grew increasingly fierce. Finally, he unleashed a sweeping leg kick, the force of which carved a deep trench into the ice.

Yet, Leman Russ simply leaped lightly to avoid the strike, landing as steady as Mount Tai. The gap between the two was immense.

"Not bad, kid! That power is fierce enough." A glimmer of appreciation flashed in Leman Russ's eyes.

Axis panted heavily, fine beads of sweat seeping from his forehead. His fists felt slightly numb, but the fighting spirit in his eyes burned ever brighter. The Saiyan battle cells were awakening, and he was feeling exceptionally exhilarated.

"Again!" Axis let out a low roar and charged forward once more. His figure left a trail of afterimages on the ice, his punches whistling as if he intended to crush everything standing in his way.

Leman Russ remained calm and unhurried, his palm blocking every one of Axis's strikes like an iron wall.

The battle between the two whipped up a gale across the ice, with ice shards and snowflakes dancing in the air like a blizzard.

This battle had only just begun.
