Experiment, Powerful Saibamen

Since I possess Ki, there is no reason the Saibamen shouldn't; these things originate from the Dragon Ball World.

"Axis, what are you thinking about? These Saibamen should have Ki, right?" Leman Russ asked.

"They should, but I want to test it first. Father, do you have any high-quality soil here? Preferably something rich in nutrients," Axis asked.

There is no time like the present; Axis wanted to plant a Saibamen right now. If the resulting creature was strong enough, he could even use it to do some dirty work.

For instance, having it grab the Second Primarch and self-destruct, blowing the Second Primarch into wreckage.

"High-quality soil? My Gloriana-class Battleship, the Hrafnkel, has a special cultivation room where we grow some vegetables. The soil there is premium black earth. Will that do?" Russ asked.

The Gloriana-class Battleship is massive, and since it goes on long missions, the ship is capable of self-sufficiency regarding food.

Inside the photosynthesis chamber, a small artificial sun has been constructed to cultivate vegetables, providing the crew with fresh food.

"That works, Father! Have someone dig up some soil, and bring over the best nutrient solution on the ship as well," Axis said.

To cultivate a good Saibamen, aside from excellent soil, high-grade nutrient solution is indispensable.

The culture fluid Axis brought from Planet Vegeta was a standard-issue product; its effectiveness wasn't great, and after 20 years, it might have expired.

Saibamen can survive even on just water, so the nutrient solutions invented in the human spacefaring era would also work.

Leman Russ nodded and immediately summoned several Space Wolves Space Marines, whispering something into their ears.

The Space Wolves warriors nodded and departed.

After a short while, the Space Marines returned, carrying several large vats several meters high into Leman Russ's quarters, along with several large barrels of the ship's premium nutrient solution.

According to the manual, once a Saibamen is planted in soil, it should break through the surface within a minute, or even just a few dozen seconds.

Orks took months to grow; surely this creature didn't need months as well?

"Logically, it should have sprouted in a minute, but there's absolutely no movement," Axis said.

"Could it be that the seed has been stored for too long and gone bad?" Leman Russ asked.

"Impossible! Saibamen seeds don't expire; they can remain active for hundreds of years," Axis replied.

Axis placed his hand on the soil, intending to sense it with his own Ki.

The green seed beneath absorbed the nutrient solution, but it seemed stagnant, as if it were missing something required to break through the surface.

Suddenly! The green seed made contact with Axis's Ki and began to greedily absorb it.

It was as if a person dying of thirst in a desert had suddenly found water, drinking in Axis's Ki with immense hunger.

This discovery made Axis realize what was happening!

In the Dragon Ball World, Ki is the foundation of everything, even the origin of the universe; all things possess Ki.

That is why Saibamen can grow just by being planted in soil and watered.

But in this Warhammer Universe, there is no such thing as Ki.

Even if planted in the best soil, the Saibamen seed cannot grow without the stimulation of Ki, and Axis's Ki was the perfect fertilizer.

Axis immediately increased his output of Ki, and the green seed finally began to swell completely.

Dozens of seconds later, a creature with a green body, three-clawed hands and feet, and a head resembling a giant cabbage appeared before Leman Russ and Axis.

"Wah! Wah! Zha!" After appearing, the Saibamen scanned its surroundings, and upon seeing Axis, it immediately knelt on one knee.

The one before it was the being who had planted it; this person was its master.

Leman Russ looked at the Saibamen with curiosity. It was so small!

"This little green monster isn't even as tall as an adult human—barely 1.4 meters. Are you sure its combat power is high?"

"Of course! Let me check its combat power." Axis picked up a Scouter.

He pressed the button while pointing it at the Saibamen. After a series of beeps, it displayed a combat power of 1300.

Its combat power is 100 points higher than a normal Saibamen. The soil Leman Russ provided was excellent, and after pouring in a massive amount of nutrient solution and stimulating it with my own Legendary Super Saiyan Ki, it grew this well.

"Don't worry, Dad! Its combat power is a full 1,300, making it even stronger than a standard Adeptus Custodes."

"Condense a Ki blast in your hand," Axis said, looking at the Saibamen in front of him.

The little green monster nodded, extended its claw, and condensed a golden ball of Ki in its palm.

"Can you unleash your Ki?" Axis asked.

The little green monster nodded, clenched its fists, took a horse stance, and let out a roar as a white aura erupted from its body.

"This is indeed the power of Ki! Incredible, this little monster actually possesses Ki!" Leman Russ looked at the creature before him with a face full of wonder.

You really can't judge a book by its cover! Who would have thought that this guy, who looks like nothing more than a grunt, could actually take down an Adeptus Custodes.
