First, thank you all for your support. Here's the update plan: tomorrow, Monday, I'll post ten chapters. Not all at once, of course, but I'll have them all up by the evening.
After that, I'll update 10,000 words a day. For every 500 increase in average subscriptions, I'll celebrate by posting two extra chapters, starting the day after the milestone is reached—that's 15,000 words.
You can count on me to keep up the updates. My previous novel was about the Mongols, and I wrote 10,000 words a day for seven months. As long as subscriptions are strong, I can keep that pace until the story is finished.
If monthly votes reach 1,000, I'll do another burst of updates, adding 5,000 words on top of the 10,000-word baseline. At 2,000 votes, I'll do another burst. I don't dare hope for more than that.
If I get a leaderboard donation, I'll keep up the burst pace for a whole week, updating 15,000 words every day.
If tomorrow's initial subscriptions are strong—2,000 genuine readers and over 3,000 fake ones—and I get 2,000 initial subscriptions, I'll do another burst the next day.
I'll post ten chapters. If subscriptions are good, I'll write like crazy. I'll keep my word.
That's all I have to say. Just watch me deliver, guys. I'm staying up all night tonight to write.
