We looked around the freezer. It was filled with animal carcasses, and seeing nothing of much value, we withdrew and headed up to the second floor.
When we reached the second floor, we found not a single rat.
It formed a stark contrast with the dense swarm of rats downstairs.
This should have been the resting area of the two old monsters.
There were six rooms up here. Four were meeting rooms and offices, but they were merely for show, covered in dust.
The other two rooms were where they slept.
When we pushed open the door, we found a bed covered in animal pelts in the first room.
Calling it a bed, it looked more like a nest.
Aside from that, there were some leftover bones in the room, including two sections of human hand bones.
This was clearly where one of the old monsters stayed, so we began a detailed search.
In the end, we found a small wooden box in a cabinet in the room.
We opened it with great care and caution. Inside was a green Carefree Tower Invitation, also marked with the character "ten."
"We found one!"
