Valentine Kingdom, Ne Lin City.
The Valentine Kingdom was one of several human kingdoms located in the south of the Fanor Continent, near the Navia Great Forest. It also bordered the eastern side of the Navia Great Forest.
Unlike the human kingdoms in the central part of the continent, where war and conflict had already erupted, these human kingdoms bordering the Elf Forest had uneven terrain, mostly rolling hills. There were not many areas suitable for human settlement and life.
Likewise, because they were close to the Elf Kingdom, these kingdoms had not yet been drawn into the flames of war.
Other regions were different. After the Fies Kingdom set such a "good example," many powerful kingdoms began extending their greedy claws toward the weaker kingdoms around them.
However, the war across the entire Fanor Continent remained under control for the time being.
After all, the major nations had all tacitly chosen to eliminate their weaker neighboring countries while remaining wary and vigilant toward kingdoms of comparable strength.
The Fies Kingdom was doing exactly that. During its integration of the Bertich Kingdom, it had withdrawn all of its forces.
But as those small kingdoms perished and the buffer zones disappeared, conflict between these powerful human kingdoms would inevitably become unavoidable one day.
When that time came, even these remote kingdoms would be unable to escape the effects of war.
For now, though, this place remained as it had always been—busy, yet carrying a measure of peace.
