The City Guard Army in the royal capital did its best to maintain order under their officers' command, but fear was plainly visible in their eyes as well.
The royal mage corps was desperately trying to activate the capital's defensive magic array, but to their despair, the formations that had once functioned perfectly now seemed completely paralyzed, giving no response at all.
Perhaps only the Mage Class members of the mage corps understood that the terrifying phenomenon in the sky was not a naturally occurring disaster, but the prelude to an extremely terrifying spell.
Still, if that mage were to cast it properly, leveling the royal capital of Diaz would be no great difficulty. It would be no different from a natural disaster.
The mages were now utterly helpless. Some had even begun praying to unknown gods.

Deliya stood beside Li Si. Feeling the terrifying phenomenon around her, she endured far greater pressure than the residents below in the royal capital.
She even felt her body wrapped in an immense amount of terrifying magic power, making it difficult to breathe.
Li Si lowered his head to look at the pale-faced Deliya and said with an utterly harmless smile,
"Can you understand your situation now, Your Majesty the Queen?"
Li Si looked exactly like a proper villain at that moment. Especially with the delicate and pitiable Deliya beside him, he looked every bit like a true evil mastermind.
Li Si understood even more clearly that taking control of a valuable Pocket World was impossible without bloodshed.
He would not be the one bleeding. That meant the natives of the Pocket World would be.
