Months after the Elf Court's destruction, merchants Nat and Joseph discussed the human kingdoms' war and the Elf Kingdom's purchase of metal ores. Their conversation turned to Li Si's reputation and the work of Wrath of Nature, while Li Si and Angela listened nearby in a tavern in Emerald City.

• Nat told Joseph that the Gordon Kingdom was fighting the Archibald Kingdom and the Paro Federation, and that attacks by Archibald assassins had killed most of Old Murr's caravan.
