• Fang Cheng and Baldy entered the first basement level, where they found an army of superpowered Clones and a church filled with apparently dead Number One Clones.
• Baldy met Benjamin Walker, who revealed that he knew Tony Kent had sent him to spy and ordered him to calm the people at the base before the sacrificial ceremony.
• Fang Cheng searched the first basement level for Mother’s Body but found nothing outside Walker’s church.

After killing Joanna, Fang Cheng joined Tsukimi Mei as Walker transformed into an enormous Evil God. While Tsukimi Mei prepared to send it back, Fang Cheng unleashed an arsenal against it, and its counterattack destroyed the base and collapsed the mountain.

• Fang Cheng killed Joanna, absorbed her abilities, and flew to help Tsukimi Mei confront Walker.

Fang Cheng learned how to pilot the Ark from Dr. X’s memories and used his clones to launch the spaceship as a battering ram against the Evil God. As Tsukimi Mei’s hold weakened and the Ark flew toward the battle, Fang Cheng rushed ahead and raised King Ksitigarbha to level 4.

• The survivors aboard the Ark watched the battle while Dr. X stopped Edgar from rambling about the Gate of Heaven.
• Fang Cheng boarded the Ark, asked Dr. X how to start it, and learned that the ship needed more crew than the survivors could provide.

Fang Cheng returned to the Ark with Ye Yuqing and prepared to separate her soul from Asaka Akie's, using Tsukimi Mei's power and Mother's Left Hand to repair them. After both souls were restored, a Black Hole suddenly appeared and pulled them inside.

• Fang Cheng escaped Steve, reached the Ark, and dealt with the troublesome survivors by throwing them into the sea before reading the crew's memories.
• Fang Cheng checked on Ye Yuqing, fed her ramen, and learned from Tsukimi Mei that Mother's Left Hand could repair souls after their separation.

Tsukimi Mei separated Asaka Akie and Ye Yuqing’s souls and brought them to Purgatory of Refined Fire to create separate bodies. While Akie waited, Izanae manipulated her into becoming a Proxy against her wishes; after Akie returned to Fang Cheng, he confronted Izanae, and Akie reacted to seeing her face.

• Ye Yuqing reunited with Asaka Akie in Purgatory of Refined Fire and explained how Tsukimi Mei judged the souls there.
• Tsukimi Mei took Ye Yuqing away and left Asaka Akie waiting while her body was adjusted.

Izanae made Asaka Akie her Proxy to help Fang Cheng face the Evil Gods, and Fang Cheng accepted the decision after Akie chose to help him. Ye Yuqing then arrived in a new body, reuniting with Akie as a separate person.

• Izanae appeared as Kanzaki Rin and explained that she had made Asaka Akie her Proxy because the Evil Gods would target Fang Cheng for gathering Mother's body.
• Fang Cheng demanded that Izanae release Akie, but Akie asked him to let it go so she could help protect him.

On the spaceship, Asaka Akie used Ye Yuqing’s absence to finally become intimate with Fang Cheng, but Ye Yuqing nearly caught them when she returned. Later, Kanzaki Rin realized what had happened and confronted Fang Cheng, ending the chapter by sending him a threatening GIF.

• Asaka Akie tricked Ye Yuqing into going into the sea, then told Fang Cheng she wanted to eat dinner or him first, and the two spent the afternoon together in his locked room.
