After Isis turned Fang Cheng into a vampire with three lives, he survived attacks, learned to improve through training, and joined forces with Kanzaki Rin to hunt other vampires. The arc left Fang Cheng beginning combat training under Takeda Masumi as his abilities grew.

After rescuing Ugou Mirai and taking up new training, Fang Cheng faced Takeshi Takeyama’s reality-bending attacks and survived them.

• Fang Cheng overcame Takeda Masumi in training, and Kanzaki Rin began taking him to search for vampires.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin tracked a vampire to a warehouse, where Fang Cheng freed captives and confronted Kuroishi Yuto.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin defeated Kuroishi Yuto, and Fang Cheng absorbed his heart and gained new abilities.
• Kanzaki Rin told Fang Cheng that the Countermeasure Department was hunting Tokyo’s vampires, then an anonymous report brought Maeda Kenichi and Kujo Go to his apartment.

• Kiba Taishi attacked the villa and killed Morishita Sayuri, Morishita Kengo, and Kuki Kei before Fang Cheng killed him and gained his abilities and an extra life.
• Kanzaki Rin admitted she had deleted surveillance footage to protect Fang Cheng, and he told her Morishita Yamato might have been hypnotized.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin hunted a Giant Toad, which Fang Cheng wounded before persuading Rin to kill it so he could absorb its fragments.
• Fang Cheng asked Rin about working in the Countermeasure Department’s Forensic Identification Division, then proposed a bold idea for obtaining Monster corpses.

Fang Cheng fought the Ultimate Bliss Cult as it targeted Sato Mai and became entangled in the danger surrounding Asaka Akie and Ye Yuqing. The arc ended with Sato Hayato awakening a superpower and Fang Cheng’s blood-red spears breaking into the Sato home.

• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin confronted cultists performing a ritual in a sealed high-rise, rescued Sato Hayato, and defeated an Evil God Projection.
• Fang Cheng killed the Earthbound Spirit, while Kanzaki Rin left for the Countermeasure Department’s internal training program.
• Fang Cheng encountered Ye Yuqing, learned she shared Asaka Akie’s body, and spent the night making her play mobile games and exercise at a love hotel.
• Fang Cheng agreed to investigate Sato Mai’s suspected stalker, uncovered a man with fake police credentials, and later learned Mai had gone missing.
