Yun Feng really didn't want to put any more pressure on everyone. If he told them how powerful these people were, they would probably panic.
Yun Feng told everyone to go back and keep training, and to stand by in the Heavenly Realm. If anything happened, they could find them at Kami's Lookout. Piccolo had also started considering fusing with the Guardian of Earth again.
Babidi's spaceship
A small, odd-looking man with two whiskers floated in the air. This was Babidi, the evil sorcerer.
The son of the dark sorcerer Bibidi, Babidi called himself the greatest sorcerer of all. Though he wasn't very powerful, he was skilled in all kinds of strange magic, including mind control, enhancement, and sealing, which made him a difficult opponent.
Standing behind him was a burly man with a bat-like face. This was Dabura, King of the Demon Realm, who had rescued Android 15.
Android 18 had just passed Babidi's cabin when she heard him and Dabura talking.
Babidi said, "That Android 15 is useless. I sent him to badly injure the enemy and gather their energy, but he ended up half dead himself. If I weren't in such desperate need of manpower, I wouldn't have bothered saving that piece of trash."
"Lord Babidi, the Saiyan who fought Android 15 really was powerful. I think if we can find three to five people with that kind of energy, Majin Buu should be able to revive," Dabura said.
"Really, Dabura? You're not exaggerating, are you? There are people on Earth with energy that powerful? In that case, we'll have to activate Plan B early," Babidi said wickedly.
"Lord Babidi, what if Androids 17 and 18 refuse to let Cell, who came from the future, absorb them?" Dabura asked with a smile.
"They don't get a choice. This is my Plan B, and no one is going to ruin it. If they try, they can die. From what I can tell, once that Cell absorbs Androids 17 and 18 and becomes perfect, and my magic strengthens him, he probably won't be any weaker than you, Dabura."
Dabura was utterly shocked, though he didn't dare let it show. He had always been proud of his strength and honored to be Babidi's top lieutenant.
He couldn't believe some random Android could match him. Dabura was bound to resent it, but he didn't dare interfere with Babidi's plan.
Babidi had the power to kill people like them whenever he pleased.
Outside, Android 18 covered her mouth and struggled to control her emotions. They had always worshipped Lord Babidi, who had freed them from the lab, as if he were a god.
She never expected Babidi to be using them, too. And for the sake of gaining greater power, he planned to let that ugly Cell absorb her and Android 17. Android 18 would never accept that.
Android 18 quietly left Babidi's cabin and returned to the room she shared with Androids 17 and 16. She told Android 17 everything she had heard. He was stunned. "What? Lord Babidi is going to abandon us and let Cell absorb us?"
Android 17 stood up, his eyes burning with anger. "No way. I'm going to ask Lord Babidi why!"
Android 18 grabbed him. "What are you doing? Do you want to get yourself killed? You know how strong Dabura is. The three of us together wouldn't stand a chance against him."
Android 17's eyes filled with despair. Then Android 18 said, "Android 17, we should escape. We're grateful to Lord Babidi for getting us out of the lab, but we never realized he was using us, too. We can't just sit here and wait for our deaths. Let's get out of here."
Android 17 thought for a moment, then said, "All right. Let's escape together. The world is a big place. We'll find somewhere to live."
Android 16 spoke slowly. "I'll go with you. Wherever you go, I'll follow. You're kind and you care for small animals. I like you."
Androids 17 and 18 nodded firmly. Then the three of them quietly left their cabin and made their way upward. They had been aboard the spaceship for a while, so they knew their way around.
They headed toward the upper levels. Luckily, Babidi and Dabura had gone to check on Majin Buu's egg, so no one noticed them.
The three escaped all the way to the top level, where they saw two evil Earthlings guarding the door. Android 17 went over and greeted them. "Hey, guys. Thanks for the hard work. Lord Babidi sent me up to take a look."
The two guards knew Android 17 was one of Lord Babidi's warriors and didn't dare slight him. They bowed their heads in greeting.
While they weren't paying attention, Android 17 knocked them both unconscious with two knife-hand strikes. The three went through the cabin door, immediately used Flight, and sped off into the distance.
When the two guards woke up, they saw the door standing open and realized something was wrong. They hurried down to report it.
Babidi slammed his hand on the table. "What? Android 17 dared to escape? Dabura, go bring them back at once!"
Dabura smiled. "There's no need to worry, Lord Babidi. Since Androids 17 and 18 have escaped, we might as well send Cell after them. He can absorb them as soon as he catches up, and we'll find out whether he's really worth your investment."
Babidi thought it over and agreed. There was no point bringing them back if Cell was just going to absorb them anyway. He would let Cell capture them himself.
"Send Cell to me," Babidi ordered. A moment later, Cell appeared at the cabin entrance and walked inside.
"Cell, Androids 17 and 18 have escaped. I order you to capture them and absorb them. I expect you to return in your perfect form. If you do, I'll give you a great deal of responsibility," Babidi said.
Cell bowed and went after Androids 17 and 18. Dabura had his own motives. He hoped Androids 17 and 18 would kill Cell rather than let him return in his perfect form and threaten Dabura's position. That was why he had suggested the plan.
Unfortunately, Babidi hadn't noticed a thing. Looking at Majin Buu's egg, he said, "Majin Buu, hurry and wake up. Once you do, I won't have to worry about so many things."
As soon as Cell left the spaceship, an excited look appeared on his face. He knew this wasn't the right time to go after Androids 17 and 18. He would absorb human essence to grow stronger, then deal with them.
Androids 17 and 18 fled frantically for three days. When they realized no one was following them, they let their guard down. Tired of flying, they decided to steal a car and go find Son Goku.
The man who had created them, Dr. Gero, had wanted to kill Son Goku for destroying the Red Ribbon Army. The Androids were therefore obsessed with finding him.
Android 17 jumped onto the road and stood in the middle, waiting for a car to arrive.
A truck driver was making a delivery when he suddenly saw someone standing in the road. He slammed on the brakes and barely managed to stop. He was about to start cursing when the man in the road walked over.
Android 17 pulled him straight out of the truck. There was no way an ordinary person could resist Android 17's strength. The driver sat dumbfounded by the side of the road, watching the three climb into his truck and drive off. Only then did he react and take out his phone to call the police.
The three happily drove along in the truck. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the middle of the road. A Light Blast shot toward them, and with a boom, the truck was blown to pieces.
The three jumped out and looked at the man across from them. He had blond hair, golden flames rising around him, and wore a Battle Suit from space. Android 18 spoke up. "Vegeta, what's gotten into you? Why did you destroy our truck?"
Vegeta burst out laughing. "Androids, I finally found you! You don't have a trace of ki. At last, the Saiyan prince found you first."
