Yun Feng really did not want to put any more pressure on the group; otherwise, if he were to reveal the true strength of their enemies, it would likely throw everyone into a panic.
Yun Feng told them to return to their training and stand by at the Heavenly Realm, instructing them to head to Kami's Lookout if anything happened. Piccolo had already begun to consider the idea of merging with Kami once again.
Inside Babidi's spaceship.
A short, strange-looking man with two antennae floated in the air. This was Babidi, the evil wizard.
As the son of the dark sorcerer Bibidi, he claimed to be the greatest mage of all. Although his personal combat strength was weak, he was a master of many strange spells involving control, enhancement, and sealing, making him a formidable opponent.
Standing behind him was a large man with a face resembling a bat; this was Dabura, the King of the Demon Realm who had rescued Android 15.
Android 18 happened to be passing by the door to Babidi's cabin and overheard the conversation between Babidi and Dabura.
Babidi: "That Android 15 is truly a piece of trash. I sent him to beat the enemy into a pulp so I could harvest their energy, yet he ended up half-dead himself. If I weren't in such desperate need of manpower, I wouldn't have bothered saving such a waste."
"Lord Babidi, the Saiyan who fought Android 15 was indeed quite formidable. I suspect that if we could find three to five more people with such powerful energy, Majin Buu would surely be able to awaken," Dabura replied.
"Really, Dabura? You aren't exaggerating, are you? If there are people on Earth with such immense power, then we have no choice but to initiate Plan B ahead of schedule," Babidi said wickedly.
"Lord Babidi, what if Android 17 and Android 18 are unwilling to let the Cell from the future absorb them?" Dabura asked with a smirk.
"It won't be up to them. This is my Plan B, and no one is allowed to interfere. If they refuse, they can just die. According to my calculations, once that fellow Cell absorbs 17 and 18 to become his perfect form, and with my magical control enhanced, he will likely be no weaker than you, Dabura."
Dabura's face was filled with utter shock, though he dared not show it. He had always taken pride in his own strength and prided himself on being Babidi's top general.
He never expected that some random android could stand on equal footing with him. Dabura was certainly unhappy, but he lacked the nerve to sabotage Babidi's plans.
For those with evil hearts like them, Babidi possessed the power of life and death.
Outside, Android 18 covered her mouth, desperately trying to control her emotions. They had always regarded Lord Babidi, who had rescued them from the laboratory, as a god.
She never imagined that Babidi was merely using them, and to gain greater power, he would actually have Cell—that ugly creature—absorb her and 17. This was something Android 18 would never accept.
Android 18 quietly left the cabin door and returned to the room she shared with 17 and 16. She told 17 exactly what she had heard. 17 was stunned. "What did you say? Lord Babidi is going to abandon us and let Cell absorb us?"
17 stood up, his eyes burning with rage. "No way. I'm going to find Lord Babidi and ask him why!"
18 grabbed 17. "What are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed? You know how strong Dabura is; the three of us combined are no match for him."
17's expression turned despondent. Suddenly, 18 said, "17, let's run away. Even though we are grateful to Lord Babidi for saving us, we never expected him to be using us. We can't just sit here and wait for death. Let's escape."
17 pondered for a moment and said, "Alright, 17. Let's escape together. The world is vast; there will always be a place for us."
16 spoke up slowly, "I will go with you. Wherever you go, I will follow. You are kind and care for small animals; I like you both."
17 and 18 nodded heavily, and the three of them quietly slipped out of their cabin, slowly making their way toward the exit. Having been there for a while, they were quite familiar with the layout of the spaceship.
They crept upward, and fortunately for them, Babidi and Dabura had gone to check on Majin Buu's egg, so no one noticed them.
The three reached the top level and saw the two evil humans guarding the door. 17 walked over and greeted them, "Brothers, you've been working hard. Lord Babidi sent me up to check on things."
The two guards recognized 17 and knew he was one of Lord Babidi's top warriors, so they didn't dare to be negligent and bowed in respect.
Taking advantage of their distraction, 17 delivered two hand strikes to knock them unconscious. The three exited the cabin and immediately used their flight techniques to soar into the distance.
When the two guards woke up and saw the door standing open, they realized something was wrong and rushed down to report it.
Babidi slammed his hand on the table. "What? 17? How dare they flee without permission! Dabura, go and capture them immediately."
Dabura smiled and said, "Lord Babidi, there is no need to rush. Since 17 and 18 have escaped, it is the perfect opportunity to let Cell hunt them down. If he catches them and absorbs them, we can see exactly what Cell's strength is and whether he is worth your investment."
Babidi thought about it and agreed; capturing them was just to feed them to Cell anyway, so he decided to let Cell handle it himself.
Babidi: "Bring Cell to me." After a short while, Cell appeared at the door of Babidi's cabin and walked in.
"Cell, 17 and 18 have escaped. I order you to capture them and absorb them immediately. I expect you to return to me in your perfect form, and I will certainly reward you," Babidi commanded.
Cell bowed and set off to hunt down 17 and 18. In truth, Dabura had his own selfish motives; he hoped 17 and 18 would kill Cell rather than see him return in his perfect form and threaten his own position, which was why he had suggested this plan.
Unfortunately, Babidi did not notice a thing. Looking at Majin Buu's egg, Babidi muttered, "Majin Buu, wake up soon. Once you awaken, I won't have so many worries."
As soon as Cell left the cabin, a look of excitement appeared on his face. He understood that now was not the best time to chase 17 and 18; he needed to absorb the life essence of humans to grow stronger before dealing with them.
17 and 18 fled frantically for three days. Finding that no one was pursuing them, they relaxed their guard. Not wanting to keep flying, they decided to hijack a car and go find Son Goku.
Dr. Gero, who had created them, wanted to kill Son Goku for destroying the Red Ribbon Army, so the androids harbored an obsession with him.
17 jumped onto the road and stood in the middle, waiting for a vehicle to arrive.
A truck driver was in the middle of a delivery when he suddenly saw a person standing in the middle of the road. He slammed on the brakes, barely coming to a stop, and was about to start cursing when the person in the road walked over.
He pulled the driver right out of the vehicle; the strength of 17 was not something an ordinary person could withstand. The driver sat by the side of the road in a daze, watching the three of them get into his truck and drive away, only then reacting and pulling out his phone to call the police.
The three were driving happily along when suddenly, a figure blocked the road. A blast of energy was fired directly at them, and with a loud boom, the truck was blown to pieces.
The three jumped out and looked at the person opposite them—blonde, with golden flames rising from his body, wearing armor from space. 18 spoke up, "Vegeta, have you lost your mind? Why did you destroy our car?"
Vegeta laughed. "Androids, I have finally found you. With no energy signatures to track, I, the Prince of the Saiyans, am the one who found you first."
