Android 18 looked at Vegeta, whose body was wreathed in golden flames, and felt anger welling up inside her. We hadn't gone looking for trouble with you, and now you've come knocking on our door.
Vegeta had transformed into a Super Saiyan, and he was clearly in a good mood. "You mechanical dolls, Androids! Get over here and die already. It's your honor to die at the hands of the Saiyan Prince."
Android 18 was speechless. Was there something wrong with this guy's head?
Android 18 said, "Vegeta, apologize to us right now, and maybe we'll let you off. Otherwise, you'll have to face our wrath."
Vegeta laughed. "What a joke. The Saiyan Prince should apologize? Get over here and die already."
Android 18 turned around. "Android 17, don't interfere. I'll deal with Vegeta." Android 17 casually waved his hand.
Android 18 fiddled with her hair. She really couldn't understand what went through the minds of these Saiyans.
The energy radiating from Vegeta grew stronger and stronger, and the flames around him blazed more fiercely. He charged straight at Android 18, and the two of them clashed, trading blows in a fierce battle.
Android 16 said, "Vegeta doesn't seem to have this much energy. Were the data wrong again?"
Taking Android 18 by surprise, Vegeta grabbed her arm and hurled her away, then hit her with a Light Blast that sent her crashing into a mountainside by the road.
With a crash, rocks flew everywhere. Android 18 emerged, looking at her now badly torn clothes. "Damn Vegeta! He ruined my favorite outfit. I'm going to kill you!" As she spoke, she ripped off her outer garment.
Vegeta laughed arrogantly. "The Android dolls aren't as strong as I thought. Looks like I've gotten too powerful. At last, I've reclaimed the glory of the Saiyan Prince."
Android 18 was furious as she watched Vegeta muttering to himself. She charged straight at him, her body turning into a blur. Vegeta powered up and met her head-on, and the two clashed again.
Android 18 punched Vegeta in the stomach. The longer they fought, the more alarmed he became. Why wasn't the Android getting tired? He, on the other hand, was already nowhere near as fresh as he'd been at the start.
Vegeta leaped back and fired countless Light Blasts at Android 18. She simply raised a force field, and Vegeta couldn't believe that his attack hadn't even worn her down.
Android 18 vanished, then kicked Vegeta in the back. He lashed out in a fit of anger, but Android 18 blocked his kick.
Android 17 called out, "Android 18, quit playing around. You're too slow. If you keep this up, the sun will set before you finish."
"I know, Android 17. You say that every time."
Android 18's speed immediately increased. After a few exchanges, Vegeta had been hit several times, and his pride was once again crushed.
"Impossible! Impossible! I'm a Super Saiyan! I'm the Saiyan Prince! How could I lose to these Androids?" Vegeta roared.
Then Vegeta flew into the sky. Lightning crackled between his hands, and the ground around him began to tremble. White lightning appeared in the sky.
"Take this, Android 18! Big Bang Attack!" Vegeta shouted.
A massive wave of white energy shot from Vegeta's hands. Its terrifying power turned the sky white. Android 18 looked up at the energy wave.
She gathered power in both hands, which began to glow, and caught Vegeta's Big Bang Attack head-on. The tremendous force drove her back more than ten steps, leaving a trail in the ground.
When Vegeta saw that she had stopped his ultimate attack with her bare hands, he could hardly take it.
Trunks arrived in a future Time Machine. As soon as he got out, he hurried toward the battlefield where the Androids were. Suddenly, he sensed the powerful energy of a Super Saiyan nearby.
Trunks exclaimed, "Is Mr. Goku fighting the Androids?" Sure enough, when he sensed the area, he couldn't feel the other fighter's ki. It had to be an Android.
Trunks sped toward the fight. When he arrived and saw who was there, he cried, "Father!"
It was Vegeta who was fighting Android 18, and he was already struggling to hold his own.
Vegeta saw Trunks too. Hearing the name and realizing he had come from the future, he guessed that this was his future son. But his pride got in the way, and he didn't want anyone's help.
Vegeta shouted, "Don't come over here! This is my fight!"
Trunks desperately wanted to help, but he knew his father's pride. If he went to help, his father would rather die than accept it.
Android 18 had taken control of the fight. Vegeta was steadily losing ground, and his speed was clearly no match for hers. Wounds had appeared all over his body, but he gritted his teeth and kept fighting.
Android 18 blurred forward again and punched Vegeta in the mouth. A mouthful of blood sprayed out.
"Father!" Trunks shouted, rushing toward him. But Vegeta stubbornly called out, "Don't come over! Can't you understand?"
Trunks was so anxious he ground his teeth. Android 18 could see that Vegeta was completely spent, so she struck him with a chop, and he passed out.
Seeing his father unconscious, Trunks no longer held back. He powered up at once, his hair turning gold as golden flames rose around him. He charged forward, drew the sword from his back, and brought it down in a slash.
Android 18 raised her arm slightly and blocked it. Then she punched him in the stomach, sending Trunks flying.
Trunks could think of only one thing: She's so strong. He could fight the Android 18 from my future, so why is the Android 18 of this era so powerful?
Trunks gritted his teeth and charged again with his sword. Android 18 grabbed the blade and snapped it with a single squeeze.
She kicked him away, then left without even looking at him. She went over to Android 17 and said, "First, let's find a clothing store and get me a few decent outfits. Vegeta ruined my clothes."
"Saiyans are such a nuisance. After we get clothes, we'll find a couple of cars and go look for Son Goku," Android 18 said.
Android 17 shook his head. "All right. Let's go."
The three Androids flew away. Holding his stomach, Trunks slowly made his way over to Vegeta, helped him up, and flew off with him.
Heavenly Realm
Piccolo was arguing with the Guardian of Earth about something, while Yun Feng sat off to one side, unable to help.
The system issued another mission: Defeat the Guardian of Earth and Piccolo after they fuse. Reward: a huge amount of Super Saiyan Energy.
So Yun Feng urged Piccolo to fuse with the Guardian of Earth.
Piccolo said to the Guardian of Earth, "The world no longer needs a feeble Guardian like you. It needs a powerful warrior. You didn't see how strong the enemy who rescued Android 15 was."
The Guardian of Earth didn't argue. He merely mocked himself. "I really am useless—the most useless Guardian of Earth there's ever been. Don't you think so, Mr. Popo?"
Popo's eyes filled with tears. "Guardian, that's not true. That's not true."
The Guardian of Earth said to Piccolo, "I'll take another look at the world below and confirm whether the monster you mentioned really exists."
Piccolo had no choice but to close his eyes and hover in midair as he waited for the Guardian's answer.
