Earth's Heavenly Realm

Piccolo floated in midair with his eyes closed, quietly waiting.

Yun Feng dozed behind him, looking bored.

Only Popo watched the Guardian of Earth with concern as he gazed down at the world below.

The Guardian of Earth stood at the edge of Kami's Lookout, observing the world below. He saw that although the three Androids were stealing clothes and cars, they weren't hurting anyone.

The Guardian of Earth was conflicted. Did Earth still need him as its Guardian, or did it need powerful fighters?

Just then, the Guardian of Earth spotted a green monster sucking the life force from humans. The tailed creature was green, and whenever it stuck its tail into someone, that person would turn into an empty husk in moments.

The Guardian of Earth broke into a cold sweat. He could also sense the monster's strength slowly growing after it absorbed each person's life force.

If left unchecked, this monster would surely become a great threat to Earth.

The Guardian of Earth made up his mind and slowly walked over. "Piccolo, come. I've decided. Earth needs a powerful warrior."

Popo looked at the Guardian of Earth sadly. "Guardian, are you really going to leave?"

The Guardian of Earth smiled. "Mr. Popo, I'm entrusting these people to your care. I'm sure a worthy Guardian will come along one day."

"Fusion is fine, but I'll be in control," Piccolo said.

The Guardian of Earth smiled. "What an unpleasant feeling. I'm giving you my power for free, and you still look down on me. Of course you'll be in control. You're young and strong."

The Guardian of Earth tossed aside his staff. A powerful gale burst from him, and brilliant white light flared around his body as he was pulled straight toward Piccolo and entered his body.

Light shimmered across Piccolo's body. He stared at his hands in disbelief. Such tremendous power—power beyond belief! His confidence returned, and he burst into loud laughter.

Piccolo turned to Yun Feng. "Mr. Yun Feng, the Guardian of Earth spotted a green monster down below. Let's go check it out."

Yun Feng knew it was Cell, who had come from the future, so he nodded. "Let's go see what this monster's like."

The two shot off at once. Yun Feng was curious to see how strong Piccolo was now as a Super Namekian.

Even before fusing, Piccolo had reached the strength of a first-stage Super Saiyan. Now, his power must have increased by leaps and bounds. Yun Feng wondered which of them was stronger.

As they neared Cell, Yun Feng said, "Piccolo, go draw him out. If we both go together, I think he'll run. He can suppress his ki, too."

Piccolo nodded. Yun Feng suppressed his ki and hid nearby, slowly approaching Cell. Suddenly, Cell sensed a powerful presence in the area. Cautious as ever, he was about to flee when he saw Piccolo.

So it was King Piccolo. Wasn't that a gift of energy delivered right to him? Cell smiled and walked over.

Piccolo looked at the monster, Cell. "Monster, where did you come from? Why are you killing Earth's people?"

Cell laughed. "Since when did King Piccolo grow a conscience?"

Piccolo stared at Cell in shock. "You know me?"

"Not only do I know you, I know Son Goku, Vegeta, Tien Shinhan, Master Roshi, and Krillin. I also know that you're going to die here today."

"Haha, you're pretty confident. Let's see which of us dies here," Piccolo said confidently.

A powerful ki erupted from Piccolo. Cell immediately realized something was wrong. "You're not King Piccolo."

"You only just figured that out? Too late."

Piccolo threw a punch. He moved so fast that Cell didn't even see it coming before the blow sent him flying.

Piccolo glanced at his hand. "Not bad." With a whoosh, he vanished from the spot again. Cold sweat ran down Cell's face. Was this really King Piccolo?

With a boom, Piccolo's fist smashed into Cell's chin from below. Cell flew upward, blood pouring from his mouth.

Cell sensed that things were going badly. If he didn't escape now, he might die here.

Cell smiled faintly. "Kamehameha!" A white energy wave shot straight at Piccolo. Piccolo swatted it aside with one claw.

Piccolo stared in shock. "You can use Goku's Kamehameha?"

"I can do plenty more. For example, another Special Beam Cannon!" A spiraling energy beam shot toward Piccolo. Piccolo jumped to dodge it, but Cell leaped after him and wrapped himself around Piccolo.

Cell's tail was about to pierce Piccolo when Yun Feng suddenly attacked from behind. He grabbed Cell's tail and yanked it off with a hard pull.

Cell cried out in pain. While the two were distracted, he hurriedly jumped back and fled.

Yun Feng said, "Cell, you don't stand a chance right now. I know your tail can absorb human energy, and that the ones you most want to absorb are Android 17 and Android 18. Am I wrong?"

Cell was so shocked he could barely speak. "You brat, who are you? Why aren't you in my data? And how do you know my secret?"

"That's a secret. I can't just tell you. You'd better hurry up and absorb Android 17 and Android 18 to become perfect, or you'll die miserably."

Piccolo was startled. "Mr. Yun Feng, you're letting him go? He's a monster!"

"Piccolo, don't get worked up. Don't you want to find out how strong you've become? It'd be boring if you had no opponents," Yun Feng said.

"I guarantee he won't hurt Earth. If that day ever comes, I'll step in."

While the two argued, Cell had already escaped.

Piccolo's green face grew dark with anger. "Yun Feng, you'll be entirely responsible for this."

With Saiyan blood in his veins, Yun Feng had a bone-deep confidence that he would win, and that was why he was acting so recklessly.

Piccolo said, "Since Mr. Yun Feng is so confident in his strength, let's fight. I want to experience your full power for myself."

The city was empty. Everyone had been absorbed and killed by Cell.

The two took their positions. Yun Feng powered up and transformed into a Super Saiyan. His hair turned golden, and golden flames rose around him. Piccolo powered up as well. Their ki spread far and wide, and their terrifying auras made the entire Earth tremble.

Kame House

Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Goku, and Gohan had also been relocated here.

They all felt the two terrifyingly powerful auras at once. It seemed Mr. Yun Feng was fighting someone. Krillin suddenly said, "That's Piccolo—no, it must be Kami Piccolo."

The others exclaimed in surprise, "Piccolo fused with the Guardian of Earth? That makes him a Super Namekian. How terrifying! They're both monsters. But why are they fighting?"

On a mountain, Vegeta sat on the peak while Trunks stood not far away. Suddenly, two powerful auras surged forth. Vegeta was so shocked that cold sweat ran down his face. "Damn it, that's Yun Feng! I can't believe he's reached this level. It looks like he's already surpassed the limits of a Super Saiyan."

Feeling Yun Feng's terrifying strength, Vegeta grew furious, but it also stirred his pride. I'll surpass you. "Trunks, come on. We're going to train. I won't lose to that bastard Yun Feng."

By the roadside, Android 16 climbed out of a van. "There are two powerful people fighting in the distance. They're both very strong, and both are stronger than you, Android 17."

Android 18 walked over, wearing fresh clothes that made her look bright and youthful. "Android 16, so you have an energy detector. But it must be malfunctioning. How could there be two people stronger than us?"
