Taking a Disciple

Planet Namek.

Goku flew over slowly, followed by Gohan and Krillin. Goku smiled and asked, "Brother, do you know us? Why did you help us defeat Frieza?"

Yun Feng also smiled. "Mr. Goku, please don't be suspicious. I am your friend. Have you ever heard of the Omni-King?"

Goku was stunned. "Omni-King? I've never heard of him. I've only trained under King Kai."

Yun Feng couldn't be bothered to explain further. "Goku, you just need to know that the Omni-King is a deity far, far above King Kai, and I am his disciple."

Yun Feng spun his lie with a straight face. "I was sent by the Omni-King to deal with Frieza. Also, Goku, you are a pure-blooded Saiyan of the warrior race. I want to take you as my disciple because I am a Saiyan, too."

Goku's jaw dropped in shock. "You're a Saiyan, too?"

Yun Feng replied, "I transformed into a Super Saiyan to defeat Frieza just now. Don't you want to become a Super Saiyan like me?"

Driven by his desire to grow stronger, Goku immediately knelt down. "Master, please accept this disciple's bow."

Yun Feng beamed at Goku. "Good. From now on, you are a disciple of mine, Yun Feng. I'll have your back in this world."

Yun Feng turned to Krillin and Gohan. "Go quickly and use the Dragon Balls to revive those killed by Frieza. Return to Earth and train hard; Frieza will come to Earth for revenge."

Goku was so surprised he nearly fell over. "Didn't Master just kill Frieza?"

"Goku, Frieza belongs to the powerful Frost Demon race. He has incredible vitality and can survive in space. He definitely didn't die just now; he will certainly return."

"Goku, come with me to train. We will return to Earth in one year."

Goku nodded, then turned to Gohan and Krillin. "Gohan, you all must train hard when you get back. Do not slack off, or what happened on Namek will repeat on Earth. Tell everyone I will return in a year to fight alongside you all."

Gohan and Krillin supported Piccolo as they flew away to revive those killed by Frieza.

"Goku, let's go, too. To Frieza's spaceship. There are Ginyu Force ships docked next to it."

Yun Feng knew this was the path to the Yardrat Planet, and he intended to teach Goku how to master the Super Saiyan transformation there.

Yun Feng pulled Goku along and quickly returned to Frieza's ship. The two climbed inside, initiated the launch, and the two pod-like spaceships took off.

During the journey to the Yardrat Planet, Yun Feng mapped out his own training plan. First, he needed to reach Super Saiyan 2 quickly to ensure his own survival.

In space.

Frieza had been reduced to countless chunks of flesh, yet he was still struggling. His vitality was terrifyingly resilient. Suddenly, a ship similar to Frieza's flew over and sucked him inside.

It turned out to be the ship of Frieza's father, the leader of the Frost Demons. The scientists inside had already begun the plan to resurrect Frieza. Unaware of this, Goku and Yun Feng continued their flight through space.

With a boom, the ship carrying Goku and Yun Feng landed. The two stepped out, and Yun Feng signaled for Goku to follow him.

Yun Feng led Goku to a cave with a large clearing outside. "Goku, I will now teach you the secret to transforming into a Super Saiyan."

As he spoke, Yun Feng transformed into a Super Saiyan. His hair turned golden, and a golden aura flared around his body.

Goku watched his master, who had transformed into a Super Saiyan. "Goku, first memorize this energy, then we will take it slowly."

"The secret to becoming a Super Saiyan is rage. Imagine your loved ones being killed by Frieza; on the verge of a breakdown, you will be able to transform."

Goku tried several times, but he felt he was only expanding his energy rather than successfully transforming into a Super Saiyan.

"Goku, don't be impatient. You must remember what I said, memorize the energy I used when I transformed, and take it slow. Once you succeed, learn a divine technique called Instant Transmission on this planet. This is the homework I am assigning you."

"Once you complete these tasks, return directly to Earth. I will be waiting for you there. If you fail to complete my assignment, do not bother returning."

Goku nodded respectfully, and Yun Feng departed in his spaceship.

"System, where in space can I find something to increase my strength?" The system searched for a moment before replying: "The planet Via in the far north has a plant called the Blood Spirit Fruit, which can increase combat power."

The spaceship immediately turned and headed toward Planet Via. Meanwhile, inside a massive vessel in space, a Namekian named Slug asked his subordinates, "Is the Blood Spirit Fruit about to ripen?"

A subordinate replied respectfully, "Master, it is almost time." "Good. Destination: Planet Via."

Upon arriving at Planet Via, Yun Feng found the climate to be exceptionally harsh, as if it were constantly windy. It was truly a miracle of nature that such a divine fruit could grow in such a hostile environment.

Yun Feng began searching for the Blood Spirit Fruit. He sensed many energy signatures nearby, including several that were quite strong.

Yun Feng immediately used Instant Transmission to arrive at the scene. It appeared a ritual was being prepared; ten people, both men and women, were tied to an altar. Yun Feng could not understand the language they were speaking.

After a while, the ten people were brought to the edge of a mountain peak. One by one, their heads were forced down, and with a single stroke, blood flowed. Yun Feng saw five blood-red fruits growing on the side of the cliff. They were actually using human blood to ripen the fruit.

Yun Feng was too shocked to speak and could only watch silently from the sidelines. Sure enough, the Blood Spirit Fruit absorbed the fresh blood bit by bit, appearing to grow slightly larger.

It seemed the fruit would ripen in ten days. Yun Feng spent these days observing from the shadows as they killed ten people every day to feed the fruit.

On the ninth day, a change occurred. A massive spaceship descended. The ship opened, and a Namekian stepped out, followed by a group of subordinates.

The people of Planet Via certainly did not welcome these aliens. The planet's warriors launched an attack on the group, but before their leader even moved, his subordinates had already beaten the Via warriors to the ground.

Just as Yun Feng was about to intervene, a powerful energy signature flew in from the distance. Yun Feng observed that it was another Via inhabitant, but this person's combat power was over a million—on par with Frieza's first form.

As expected, Slug's subordinates were wiped out in a few quick moves.

Slug said, "Your strength is impressive. Would you like to become my right-hand man? We can conquer the world together."

The Via warrior replied angrily in the universal language of the universe: "Alien, I don't care what your purpose is here, but I advise you to leave at once."

Seeing that words were useless, Slug attacked directly. A terrifying energy erupted from his body, causing the ground to crack. He was truly a Super Namekian; even Piccolo could not compare to this level of power.

With a single punch, Slug sent the Via warrior flying. Slug's speed was too fast; the Via warrior had no time to dodge. Then, Slug extended his arm, enlarged his body, grabbed the Via warrior, and began to crush him slowly.

Watching the Via warrior scream in agony, Slug only smiled. He was truly a devil.
