Battle Against Slug

Watching the Via Star People grow weaker by the moment, Yun Feng was shaken by just how formidable Slug was.

Slug looked at the Via Star People, who were too intimidated to come any closer, and felt an immense rush of satisfaction. He slowly walked toward the Blood Spirit Fruit.

"I'm afraid this Blood Spirit Fruit won't be so easy to take," a calm voice came from behind him.

Slug's expression immediately turned cold. "Who's there? If you've got the guts, show yourself."

Just as Yun Feng was about to step out, the system chimed.

Ding, host, hidden quest detected.

Quest: Defeat Slug.

Yun Feng accepted the quest. He'd planned to defeat Slug anyway, so he might as well take the reward.

Yun Feng slowly stepped out. As time passed, the Saiyan bloodline in his body had gradually fused with him, and a tail had grown from his backside.

Slug looked at the black-haired young man as he emerged. He was dressed in black, and the tail behind him swayed in the breeze.

"You're a Saiyan? Weren't all the Saiyans wiped out by Frieza?"

Yun Feng said, "Aren't you giving Frieza too much credit? Is he really strong enough to wipe out all the Saiyans?"

Slug's expression darkened. At most, he's on par with Frieza. This kid clearly doesn't take Frieza seriously. Is he bluffing?

A terrifying aura suddenly burst from Slug's body, surging out in waves. The system immediately gave its assessment.

450,000 battle power. Low-level Super Namekian.

So Super Namekians were all this monstrous, with such formidable battle power. Yun Feng suddenly remembered that when Kami fused with Piccolo, their battle power seemed to exceed that of Super Saiyan 1.

Yun Feng wasn't about to be outdone. A terrifying aura radiated from him, his hair turned gold, and golden flames rose around him. The system gave its assessment as well.

It looked like he had the edge over Slug. And he still hadn't used Kaioken or Instant Transmission. Yun Feng was full of confidence.

They charged at each other, fists meeting fists and legs meeting legs. The shockwaves from their colliding auras shattered the surrounding rocks, while the terrifying gusts kept the Via Star People far away.

They moved at incredible speed. In just a short while, they had clashed more than ten times. The longer they fought, the more alarmed Slug became. This Saiyan's battle power was terrifying. Could he be the Legendary Super Saiyan?

Light flashed in Slug's hand, and a terrifying Light Blast shot out. A powerful aura burst from Yun Feng's hand, and he simply swung it aside, knocking Slug's Ki Blast away.

Yun Feng gave Slug no chance to catch his breath. He moved swiftly, while Slug kept his eyes fixed on the sky. Suddenly, an elbow shot in from the right and struck Slug in the face. Blood sprayed from Slug's mouth as he went flying.

Slug crashed into a mountain, shattering it. Countless stones buried him, but suddenly there was a boom, and rocks flew everywhere as Slug burst out.

"Brat, you've made me angry. You brought this on yourself, so don't blame me!"

Slug's entire body began to glow. In an instant, he grew until he was as enormous as a mountain.

Yun Feng looked up at the gigantic Slug, then his body turned hazy. Slug lost sight of him again. Growing larger had increased Slug's strength, but it also made him huge, clumsy, and much slower.

Suddenly, Slug seemed to spot Yun Feng and swiped a claw at him. Before Slug could even celebrate, Yun Feng's body turned hazy. It had only been an afterimage.

Yun Feng quickly moved behind Slug and kicked him in the knee, knocking him down. Then he stamped on Slug's finger, and Slug let out a pained howl.

Seeing that growing larger wasn't helping, Slug returned to his normal size, and the two began fighting again. Their afterimages flashed into view as they moved too fast to follow. In just a brief moment, they had clashed dozens of times.

Then Slug's aura erupted with terrifying force, and countless Light Blasts shot toward Yun Feng. More and more Light Paths appeared. Slug clenched his hand, and they all exploded around Yun Feng.

Yun Feng quickly powered up, golden flames surging around him to block the countless Light Blasts. Then he let out a roar, and his aura blasted outward, deflecting them all.

Yun Feng charged straight at Slug. Slug raised both arms to block, but the impact sent him flying, blood spraying from his mouth.

A terrifying Light Blast appeared in Yun Feng's hand. He threw it, and with a boom, one of Slug's arms was blown off.

Slug tore off the arm that had been blasted away. Blood poured from the wound as he roared, and a new arm grew in its place. He was just like a lizard shedding its tail.

"Slug, your energy has dropped a lot. If you don't have a trump card, I'm going to take your life."

"Brat, don't talk big. How could I, King Slug, lose?"

As he spoke, the aura around Slug rapidly surged. He raised both hands, and waves of terrifying energy blasted outward.

Yun Feng crossed his arms in front of his face and blocked Slug's ultimate attack. Looking up at the sky, Slug laughed loudly. "It's over. It's finally over."

Yun Feng said, "Slug, what are you so happy about?"

With a boom, Yun Feng's fist slammed into Slug's abdomen. He followed up with a barrage of blows.

Blood poured from Slug's mouth, and his consciousness began to fade. Yun Feng placed a hand on Slug's head, then golden flames burst around him.

Boom.

A terrifying energy wave engulfed Slug.

Ding, host, hidden quest completed.

Kill Slug.

Skill reward: Kamehameha.

Solar Flare.

Yun Feng's face lit up. He had finally obtained the Kamehameha, one of the Dragon Ball world's divine techniques. The stronger the user, the more powerful it became. Solar Flare was a great lifesaving skill, too—very useful.

Yun Feng walked to the edge of the mountain, picked the Blood Spirit Fruit, and left while the Via Star People watched in terror. After flying for a little over an hour, he found a cave, sat down cross-legged, and settled in.

He took out the Blood Spirit Fruit and swallowed it whole. The red fruit slid down Sword Soul's throat and into his stomach.

A short while later, a terrifying aura burst from Yun Feng, and his battle power began to soar.

The system chimed. Ding, host's battle power has increased. Mid-level Super Saiyan 1, first tier. Battle power: 9 billion.

Yun Feng couldn't hide his delight. This had saved him so much time. The universe really was wondrous.

Then Yun Feng ate two more in succession, but they didn't do much. The two fruits only increased his battle power by 100 million. It seemed only the first one had worked; after that, he had developed a resistance.

Yun Feng's attributes appeared on the system panel.
