Battle Against Slug

Via Star.

Watching the Via Star People whose life force was fading, Yun Feng was struck by the sheer, tyrannical power of Slug.

Slug watched the Via Star People, who were now too terrified to approach him, and felt an immense sense of satisfaction as he slowly walked toward the Blood Spirit Fruit.

"I don't think this Blood Spirit Fruit is going to be so easy to take," a calm voice drifted from behind him.

Slug's expression immediately turned cold. Who was it? If they had the guts, they should show themselves.

Just as Yun Feng prepared to step out, the system chimed.

Ding. Host, a hidden mission has been discovered.

Mission: Defeat Slug.

Yun Feng clicked to accept. He had intended to defeat Slug anyway, so he might as well collect the reward for this delivery.

Yun Feng slowly walked out. As time passed, the Saiyan bloodline had gradually integrated into his body, and a tail had sprouted from his lower back.

Slug looked at the black-haired youth who had emerged, dressed in black, his tail swaying in the wind.

"You're a Saiyan? Weren't the Saiyans wiped out by Frieza?"

Yun Feng didn't give Slug a chance to breathe. He moved rapidly, his eyes locked on the sky. Suddenly, he struck from the right with an elbow, slamming it into Slug's face. Slug spat blood and went flying.

Slug crashed into a mountain peak, shattering it instantly. Countless stones buried him, but with a sudden boom, the rocks flew in every direction as Slug burst out.

"Brat, you have angered this King! You brought this upon yourself, don't blame me."

Slug's entire body began to glow, and in an instant, he grew to the size of a mountain.

Yun Feng watched the gargantuan Slug, then his body turned illusory. Slug had lost his target. Although Slug's power had increased with his size, his weakness was his lack of mobility and greatly reduced speed.

Suddenly, Slug seemed to spot Yun Feng and swiped a claw at him. But before Slug could rejoice, Yun Feng's body turned illusory—it was merely an afterimage.

Yun Feng moved rapidly behind Slug and kicked his knee, causing the giant to collapse. Then, Yun Feng stomped on Slug's finger, and Slug let out a howl of agony.

Seeing that his giant form offered no advantage, Slug reverted to his original size, and the two began to clash again. Only their afterimages were visible; they were moving so fast that they traded dozens of blows in a mere instant.

Slug then erupted with terrifying energy, firing countless light blasts at Yun Feng. As the barrage intensified, Slug clenched his fist, and the countless beams exploded directly against Yun Feng.

Yun Feng charged directly at Slug, who blocked with his arms, only to be sent flying backward, blood spraying from his mouth.

A fearsome energy blast formed in Yun Feng's hand, which he hurled forward. With a boom, one of Slug's arms was blown clean off.

Slug ripped off the mangled limb, blood gushing everywhere. With a roar, a new arm sprouted in its place, much like a lizard's tail.

"Slug, your energy has dropped significantly. If you have no other tricks, I'm going to take your life."

"Brat, don't talk big! How could I, King Slug, possibly lose?"

As he spoke, Slug's energy surged rapidly. He raised both hands, and a fearsome energy wave swept toward his surroundings.

Yun Feng crossed his arms in front of his face to block the ultimate move. Slug looked up at the sky and laughed loudly, "It's over! It's finally over!"

Yun Feng asked, "Slug, what are you so happy about?"

With a boom, Yun Feng's fist slammed into Slug's abdomen, followed by a flurry of strikes raining down upon him.

Slug spat out blood, his consciousness beginning to blur. Yun Feng placed his hand on Slug's head, and terrifying golden flames erupted from his body.

BOOM.

A fearsome energy wave engulfed Slug.

Ding. Host has completed the hidden mission.

Kill Slug.

Reward Skills: Kamehameha, Solar Flare.

Yun Feng's face lit up with joy. He had finally obtained the Kamehameha—a divine skill in the Dragon Ball world. The stronger the user, the more powerful the blast. The Solar Flare was also a practical life-saving skill.

Yun Feng walked to the edge of the peak, plucked the Blood Spirit Fruit, and left the area right under the terrified gazes of the Via Star People. After flying for about an hour, he found a cave and sat down cross-legged.

He took out the Blood Spirit Fruit and swallowed it in one gulp; the crimson fruit slid down Sword Soul's throat and into his gut.
