Android 18 looked at Yun Feng. His words made her heart stir. Ever since Dr. Gero had chosen her to become an Android, no one had ever treated her like that.
After all, she had once been human, too. The way she looked at Yun Feng had already changed.
Yun Feng was secretly delighted to see that Android 18 had fallen for his act. It really had worked.
Then he said to Trunks, "You're no match for me. As long as I'm here, you won't hurt Android 18. You should leave."
Trunks, who had already become an award-winning actor, wasn't about to pass up one last chance to perform. "I won't leave. Come on, show me what you've got."
Yun Feng shook his head. That kid Trunks was so stubborn. He'd achieved what he wanted, but since he'd just told Trunks to fight, it looked like he'd have to follow through.
Trunks immediately charged at him. "Look out! Trunks is coming!" Android 18 shouted.
Yun Feng smiled. His hair turned golden, and golden flames rose around him as he charged forward. Trunks threw a punch, but Yun Feng was incredibly fast. Trunks launched several attacks, and every one of them missed.
Then Yun Feng suddenly appeared and punched Trunks in the stomach. Trunks clutched his belly and staggered back, but Yun Feng appeared behind him again and brought down an elbow. With a crash, Trunks dropped to the ground, half-crouched.
The ground instantly split with cracks. Yun Feng disappeared again, and Trunks looked around for him. Suddenly, a kick struck Trunks, sending him flying.
Yun Feng dusted off his hands, returned to normal, and walked over to Android 18. Gently, he said, "Let's get out of here," glancing at the somewhat damaged Android 16 and the badly wounded Android 17.
Android 18 nodded. Yun Feng grabbed all three of them and used Instant Transmission to leave.
Trunks slowly got back to his feet. "Ouch. Mr. Yun Feng is so strong. I couldn't fight back at all. I was like a little kid."
Trunks took out the Senzu Bean Yun Feng had given him earlier and ate it, healing his injuries and restoring his strength. Then he returned to Kami's Lookout to wait for Yun Feng to come back and train him.
Now that Yun Feng had won the beauty's heart, how could he possibly remember Trunks?
Yun Feng brought the three of them to Bulma's house and went inside, calling loudly, "Bulma, are you there?"
A little while later, Bulma's father, the doctor, came out. "Young man, are you looking for Bulma? She's inside."
Yun Feng nodded and smiled. "Hello, sir. I'm a friend of Bulma's."
Bulma rushed out a moment later. "Yun Feng, what are you doing here?"
"I need your help with something. Come inside," Yun Feng said. Bulma glanced at the newcomers—she had never seen these Androids before.
Yun Feng explained, "They're Androids."
Bulma's expression immediately darkened. "Yun Feng, why did you bring such dangerous enemies to my house?" she said, turning to run.
"They're not bad people. They've never killed anyone, and they're on our side now," Yun Feng explained.
"Those two are badly injured. You may be the only person on this planet who can fix them, since you're such a brilliant scientist," Yun Feng told Bulma.
Hearing him praise her, Bulma readily agreed. "No problem, Yun Feng. Just leave them to me."
Yun Feng nodded and smiled. "Then I'll get going. I'll come back for them in a few days." Android 16 and Android 17 bowed gratefully to Yun Feng, then followed Bulma inside.
Yun Feng took Android 18's hand and led her toward West City. "Android 18, let's go for a walk."
Android 18's face immediately turned red. "Yun Feng, is this a date?"
Yun Feng laughed. "You could say that."
Ding! The host has completed the mission. Reward: Resurrection Technique.
Yun Feng was delighted. He'd already completed it? That had been way too easy. For someone as handsome as him, it was practically effortless.
The system was already starting to despise its shameless host.
Ding! Hidden mission: Get a kiss from Android 18.
Reward: Invincible Golden Body (blocks one incoming attack; a lifesaving skill).
Damn, Android 18 was popular! Two hidden missions had appeared in a row, and both rewards were incredibly powerful.
Looks like he'd have to put in a little more effort. Looking at Android 18, he took her hand and said, "Let's buy you some clothes."
Women could never resist pretty clothes. Android 18 was already a little dazed; no one had ever treated her so kindly. They picked out a few outfits she liked, Yun Feng paid, and then they left the clothing store.

"Sure," Android 18 said. They went inside, and Yun Feng let her order a few dishes she liked, then added a few more himself. They enjoyed a meal together, and their relationship grew a little closer.
Yun Feng flew with Android 18 out of the city to a ranch. They landed in a stretch of lush green grass, and Android 18 sat down.
"Android 18, why do you hate Dr. Gero so much?" Yun Feng asked curiously.
Her eyes immediately flashed with anger. "Because we hate Dr. Gero for modifying us without our consent. We were ordinary humans. We could have lived ordinary lives."
Yun Feng spoke softly. "Android 18, I'm sorry for bringing up something painful. It's all right. You can still live like ordinary people from now on. I'll always protect you. I'll gather the Dragon Balls and ask Shenron to remove the bomb inside you, too."
Android 18 stared at Yun Feng in shock. "Yun Feng, do you really mean that? You're not lying to me?"
Yun Feng had no shame at all. "Of course I mean it. I truly love you, and I want to protect you for the rest of my life."
Android 18 was stunned. "You love me? You want to protect me?" She had already suspected as much, but hearing Yun Feng say it out loud still left her dazed.
Yun Feng immediately pulled Android 18 toward him and kissed her. She struggled for a moment, then let herself go along with it.
The place was as beautiful as a painting, with its lush green grass. Suddenly, Yun Feng found himself at a loss for words.
Ding! The host has completed the hidden mission. Reward: Invincible Golden Body.
Hearing the system, Yun Feng knew he'd completed the mission.
Then he spoke softly. "Android 18, why don't you stay with us for now? It's dangerous for you to be out there. Cell is still trying to absorb you and Android 17."
Android 18 nodded, which was as good as agreeing.
Yun Feng took Android 18 to the place where he'd been staying since he first arrived. He'd built a fairly large house in the mountains, and he brought her over to show her where it was.
Yun Feng said, "Android 18, in a couple of days, go to Bulma's place and bring Android 17 and Android 16 here. I'm going to train in the Heavenly Realm. When Babidi's game begins, I'll come back for you."
Android 18 nodded. Seeing how big Yun Feng's house was, she felt that she had a home of her own now and no longer had to wander from place to place. Her heart filled with love for Yun Feng.
Yun Feng used Instant Transmission and appeared in the Heavenly Realm. Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan had already gone back into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, leaving only Trunks and Vegeta waiting outside.
Yun Feng greeted everyone. Trunks looked delighted. "Mr. Yun Feng, you're finally back! I understand now where I fell short."
Seeing how grateful Trunks was, Yun Feng nodded and encouraged him. "Keep training. You can definitely break through the Super Saiyan barrier and reach a whole new level."
Trunks nodded excitedly, clearly full of confidence in his training now.
Vegeta hadn't said a word the entire time. He only glanced over a few times before closing his eyes.
That Saiyan Prince was way too aloof. He was hard to get along with.
