The Demon Appears

The system immediately displayed Yun Feng's attributes.

Power: Super Saiyan 2, Mid-Level Demon; battle power: 400 billion.

Looking at his skyrocketing stats, Yun Feng felt very pleased. All right, no one on the other side should be able to fight anymore. We've won this match.

Yun Feng called out, "Babidi, your strongest subordinate is dead by my hand. Surrender!"

Babidi gritted his teeth. "Don't get cocky. It's not clear yet who'll win!"

Then Babidi placed his hand on the Crystal Ball beside him and began chanting under his breath.

Vegeta suddenly felt a splitting headache and let out a pained howl. Yun Feng's heart sank. The events from the original story were happening all over again. But even if Vegeta was controlled now, what kind of trouble could he cause?

Yun Feng shouted, "Vegeta, hold on to yourself, or you'll become Babidi's slave!"

Vegeta roared, "I'm the Prince of the Saiyans! How could I become someone's slave? Babidi, you bastard! You want to control me? Not a chance!"

Babidi was stunned. "This is the first time I've encountered this. He actually has such strong pride."

Vegeta panted heavily. Suddenly, an extremely cold voice rang out. "Babidi, you really are useless. You can't even handle a bunch of wild monkeys."

A black figure stepped out of the darkness. It had horns on its head and a tail, and its entire body was pitch-black.

Looking at its appearance, Yun Feng wondered if it was a demon. But that couldn't be right. There wasn't anyone like this in Dragon Ball. "Who are you?" Yun Feng asked.

The demon's cold eyes swept over them. "A bunch of ants don't deserve to know my name. Babidi, you're as useless as your father. I have to handle this myself."

The system immediately sounded an alarm. "Warning! Warning! Terrifying life-form detected: Demon."

System, what kind of creature is a demon? Why is one here?

"Demons are the most evil creatures in the original Dragon Ball story. They are enemies of the Angel Clan."

Yun Feng was utterly shocked. "System, analyze this demon's strength for me."

Name: Guku

Race: Demon Clan

Power: Mid-Level Demon; battle power: 450 billion.

Even a Mid-Level Demon had such high battle power. So the Demon Clan must have many powerful fighters.

Yun Feng said, "Everyone, be careful. This demon is at least as strong as a Super Saiyan 2. Anyone weaker who can escape should do so now."

"Gohan, attack with me. We'll hold this demon off. Goku, get everyone else out of here."

Guku's cold voice rang out. "You think you can escape in front of me? How laughable."

Yun Feng nodded to Gohan. They powered up at the same time. Terrifying golden flames surged up around them, and silver lightning crackled across their bodies. Waves of tremendous power swept out, splitting the ground with countless cracks.

The demon Guku looked at Yun Feng and Gohan. "You two aren't bad. Let's have some fun."

Like a magician, Guku made a trident appear in his hand and thrust it at the two of them. It was wreathed in mysterious black energy. Yun Feng struck it with a Light Blast, only to discover that the black energy was partially corrosive.

Yun Feng and Gohan moved at blinding speed and attacked from opposite sides. Guku smiled faintly and fired a black blast of energy from each hand, sending them in different directions. Gohan was blasted backward, and Yun Feng sensed that the black energy was no ordinary force.

"Invincible Golden Body!" A different kind of golden light radiated from Yun Feng, stopping the black energy. He used Instant Transmission to appear beside Gohan and saw that the Saiyan energy around him had already been corroded away in places. Gohan was howling in pain.

Goku gave Gohan a Senzu Bean, and he immediately recovered. This corrosive energy could even eat away at Super Saiyan power. How were they supposed to fight a demon?

"System, how do we counter the demons' corrosive energy?"

"Host, don't worry. Once you learn to cultivate Angel Energy, you won't need to fear its corrosive effects."

Yun Feng asked, "Then how can I get the method for cultivating Angel Energy?"

"Host, would you like to accept the task to obtain the Angel cultivation method?"

Yun Feng tapped to accept, and the system spoke.

"Exclusive task: Spar with a demon."

"Reward: Method for cultivating Angel Energy."

Spar with a demon? That's just telling me to go toe-to-toe with one! Yun Feng rolled his eyes. Looks like I'll have to fight this battle myself.

Yun Feng said to Gohan, "Gohan, retreat for now. This guy's energy is strange. I'll hold him off."

Gohan nodded. The demon attacked again, and Yun Feng didn't dare meet him head-on. He kept harassing him with Light Blasts to stop him from getting close.

Seeing that Yun Feng seemed wary of his energy, Guku formed a black whip in his hand and lashed it at him. Yun Feng dodged left and right.

Every lash narrowly missed Yun Feng's face. He steeled himself and activated Instant Transmission, appearing right in front of the demon. Before Guku could react, Yun Feng punched him in the stomach.

Guku staggered backward in pain. What had just happened? How had Yun Feng vanished and then suddenly reappeared? Did the human world have such a profound technique?

Yun Feng gathered his energy. Strike while he's down! "Kamehameha!" Silver-white light blazed in his hands. He used Instant Transmission to appear behind Guku, but Guku had already prepared for the move.

As expected, the same move wouldn't work twice. A black whip shot toward Yun Feng. He calmly said, "Invincible Golden Body!" Mysterious golden light appeared around him, and he let the whip strike his body before firing the Kamehameha.

With a tremendous boom, a terrifying explosion erupted. Yun Feng used Instant Transmission to leave and reappeared beside Goku. Everyone had already returned to Kami's Lookout.

As soon as Yun Feng arrived at Kami's Lookout, he dropped onto the ground. This demon was far too terrifying. He'd used all kinds of skills and hadn't gained the slightest advantage.

After the Kamehameha's force dissipated, the demon flew out of a huge crater, completely unharmed. He looked around and saw that the place was deserted.

He roared at Babidi, "Find out where they are. Leave the rest to you. Taking over Earth is a mission my clan's Holy Lord gave me."

"Notify me as soon as you hear anything. Yun Feng, the next time I see you, I'll tear you to pieces!"

Babidi nodded in fear. "Yes, Lord Demon. I'll do everything I can."

After the demon disappeared, Babidi slumped to the ground and gasped for breath. When had he ever suffered such humiliation before? "Damn demon! Once my Majin Buu is revived, I'll kill you!"

Babidi saw that Majin Buu's energy had already reached 75 percent. Gohan had been injured by the demon just now, and the energy had surged that much! Babidi danced with joy. If he thought of another way, he could definitely revive Majin Buu.

The system's voice sounded in Yun Feng's mind. "Exclusive task complete. Reward: Angel Energy cultivation method."

The method immediately entered Yun Feng's mind. Now he wouldn't have to fear the demon's strange energy. Next time we meet, I'll kill you.

Goku and the others waited for Yun Feng to speak. After gathering his thoughts, Yun Feng said, "Babidi's goal this time is to revive a monster called Majin Buu. Majin Buu is even stronger than the demon we saw today."

"Everyone needs to take this seriously. The demon we encountered today seems to be a monster opposed to the various universes. His strength is unfathomable, and his energy is very strange."
